Mama Bear's Natural Unscented Shaving Soap

100% Natural Unscented Shaving Soap In most things I am a purist. I’ll experiment sure, but I thought I was sold on the Tallow based shave soaps. And especially the Artsy one. That is: until Mama Bear! EVERYTHING advertised is delivered in these pucks! Especially SLICK! I got the un-scented to add my own EO Blend. I use a ceramic bowl, floated in the sink to keep the lather warm. Tallow based soaps leave a greasy bath-tub ring in the sink and on the outside of the shave-bowl. Not so with Mama B’s glycerin soap. My Merkur Futur glides on this stuff.

My first shaving "soap" after using Taylor of Bond Street's Cream. This is my second brush-based shaving solution after ditching the canned stuff.Mama Bear's soap goes a very long way. You get a lot for your money. However, I'm just not a very big fan of the shave. Not quite smooth enough, doesn't stay lathered, doesn't work into my skin like I felt the other brand did. Even spent an extra long amount of time lathering.I imagine it may be great for other skin and hair type, I just personally was not a big fan. I was still able to get good shaves, but not as good as other creams.

It lathered much better than entry-level shaving soaps, which resulted in less time preparing my face for a shave. Seemed to feel gentle on my skin, thanks to the abundance of skin friendly oils like coconut oil, palm oil, and castor oil. After the shave, my skin felt fine and not irritated. As this product states, it is great for sensitive skin. The 5 oz. puck seems like it will last a while.The info for this product states that a travel tub comes with soaps that are 4 oz. made by Mama Bear's Soaps LLC. The 100% Natural Unscented Shaving Soap is 5 oz., so there won't be a tub included. Slight confusion on their part.

I noticed right away it was a quality soap. It is nice and slick. There was also plenty of cushion. It loaded into my shaving brush easily and quickly lathered. The fact that there's no scent made it pleasant to shave with vs a strong overpowering scent. I read online this is considered artisan made and well respected among serious wet shaver enthusiasts. Only complaint not worth removing a star is the label looks cheesy like it's from a home printer but that's petty. The proof is in the pudding.

would not recommend this soap,very hard to lather,doesn't perform nearly aswell as cheaper priced soap aka col.conk,lather too airy just plain terrible.

Third time I’ve ordered this. Great soap, easily works to a great lather. Very smooth shave and lasts a long time. I may try their other “flavors “ but I really like this one so why mess with success.

Mama Bear makes great soaps, and I love the scents, but I have a coarse rough heavy beard combined with baby soft easily irritated delicate sissy face skin. This soap makes short work of the heavy beard, doesn't irritate my face.

Lathers up very well, No smell other than the natural smell of the oils, etc. Great for sensitive skin and people who don't like the overwhelming smells of most shaving products.
