GSD Pup Approved!
I ordered this after reading recommendations on a GSD dog group. Love how it tires our pup out and it’s a hard plastic material so she can’t bite or destroy it. It keeps her busy for long periods of time.

Good for herding!
Our Aussie doesn't fetch a ball or a frisbee very well, so we were looking something to help wear her out. She loves to herd a soccer ball, but it didn't take long for her to destroy it. This ball works well because it has a very tough surface and is too large to fit in her mouth. She is fixated on the hole, but someone has suggested filling it to keep the dogs from bothering it. She has some deep scratch marks on it, but it doesn't affect its function so far. We do not leave her with the ball unattended.

Durable toy
My pit mix loved this toy at first, now she kinda seems bored with it after a few weeks. It's a durable toy for sure. Hurts my feet when I kick it for her! Good quality ball though, made out of hard plastic.

Happy puppy
My mini australian shepard has a field day with this ball! It keeps him entertained on his own for quite awhile. It's a hard plastic so he cant tear it up with his little teeth, but he tries, and when he tries it slips away causing him to chase it and repeate the process lol. He loves it, I love it.

The only real herding ball solution for longevity
This is such a valuable toy / tool if you have a working dog without a working environment. But - there are two things dependent on you, their human, to make it such.First, and more straight-forward, you have to seal the threaded access cap so they’re not wrecking their teeth trying to pick it up. Grab a J-b Weld Kwikset Epoxy syringe (5-9 dollars from a box store) to do this. It’s so simple and straight-forward that nobody should be here complaining about the cap.If you desire to add anything to the inside of the ball, do that before you (permanently) seal the hole. This thing is a brick, so definitely don’t need to add weight:1.) Find a way to secure the ball in a well-ventilated space **AWAY FROM DOGGO** so that it’s not rolling. I used a pipe clamp, you can do this with a wall and something heavy. It should be leveled but you can eyeball it just fine.2.) Sand, lightly, the red cap and the below-flush sides of the access hole with (any low-ish grit) sandpaper.3.) Open your kwikset epoxy, attach the mixing tube, and push the clear mixture into the gap until it’s flush, or near-flush with the surface of the ball.4.) After the epoxy has settled (30 seconds) make sure you have the ball level - you’ll be able to see the resin pooling if the hole is off-center. Once corrected, squeeze out more epoxy until it’s slightly above the smooth surface of the ball.5.) The resin will dry in 5-10 minutes, and per the manufacturers instructions cure in a few hours. Its best to allow 24-hours before use, though. If your best friend is a herding dog, aka one that has an instinctual desire to control what moves, this ball will keep them B-U-S-Y. Anything smaller isn’t as captivating because it can easily be controlled. This is the root of herding - working dogs love fetch so much because a bouncing ball / frisbee is unpredictable and (for them) *must* be controlled.Second - you need to facilitate how you introduce this to your dumb friend. For me, Ace is immediately *infuriated* by his inability to pick it up or move it a great distance effectively. So, he’ll come to me and sit because he ‘needs help’. The trick is to not engage with the ball like you would anything else. Position it for them if you need to, but pick it up without eye contact / acknowledgement, put it where you want it, and walk away without engaging them. Hang outside and encourage them, but don’t give them a hand with the ball at all.

Came dirty, no rating yet
The ball came oddly stained, I’m not exactly sure with what but I was able to wipe it off with soap and water. Before giving my dogs the ball I filled the hole with epoxy like recommended instead of dealing with the aggravation or worry of them hurting themselves with the hole. That process was very simple. The resin was cheap, and I got a sanding block as well. I don’t have a review on the ball itself yet, will update once the resin dries.

Definitely indestructable
I gave this a 5-star rating because it is well made and I can't imagine any dog being able to destroy it. However, the dog,, I purchased it for will not play with it since he can't find a way to tear it up. As advertised it says it is for a "hearding'" dog, which my pit bull/boxer mix is not, but I was willing to give it a try!

Not really what I was expecting
I’m not sure why I was expecting rubber but it’s a very hard plastic. It’s pretty loud when dropped on the floor or when it’s rolling. Overall though it’s good quality and does the job!

Hours of fun!
The media could not be loaded. Our two year old Rottie loves his new toy! Played with it for one hour straight when he first got it. Have only had it about a month but so far seems to stand up well to his daily play. This will provide hours of fun for him!

Buen juguete
Buen material, hasta ahora no lo han roto los border collies, ni el boxer, un poco ruidoso con piso duro.

Hard plastic ball that has lasted longer than any other toy my puppy has
It was a surprise that this is an extremely hard plastic ball, but my puppy loves chasing it around the room and batting it about with her paws. She has completely scored the outer surface so it is now covered in scars. Note that there is a small hole in one spot, probably from how the ball is made in the factory. I was afraid my dog would fixate on that little hole and try to destroy the ball because that's how she is, but it has held up really well. Recommend you get the right size for your dog's mouth because I'm sure a bigger dog could destroy the ball if it was able to really chomp down on it.Finally, watch the pricing on these at it seems to fluctuate a huge amount (up to 5x) on Amazon Canada.

Does not puncture and deflate.
Eventually this ball succumbs to the constant tearing. I always have one in the wings to ensure he can still play with one. This is the best toy ever.
