This is a great set of spoons. The handles are long enough to go down into tall jars, while the silicon padding on those handles make it easy to hold on to them even when dipping deep into a tall container. The silicon also makes them pleasant to touch, something that I never thought I needed in serving spoons, but is still a very nice feature now that I have them. The spoons themselves are deep enough so that they hold their contents well, and release them easily when and where needed. In addition, the smaller measuring spoons not only have the designations of a dash, smidgeon, pinch, drop and tad, but also tell you what that really means in fractions of a tsp, something I find much more useful than uninformative "quaint" designations. Since I mix up special diets for my elderly pets, it is very helpful to be able to measure a 16th or 32nd of a tsp.I have owned these now for over a month, and have used them at least twice each day during this time. I am quite happy with how easily they clean up, and have had no issues with them.These spoons are attractive, and of good quality, made of sturdy stainless steal that will not easily bend out of shape or succumb to multiple washings. They have rings that are strong enough to hold the spoons together, but also open easily.

My son recently told me of his need to measure 1/32 of a teaspoon and I found a number of sets of small volume measuring spoons on Amazon. Several had cute names for the dispensing units on the handle, like 'tad' and 'drop', but this is the only set I could find where it was clear from the pictures online that actual fractions of a teaspoon were stamped on each spoon in addition. The bonus with this set is the addition of other more standard units, including 1/2 tablespoon - I have a plastic half tablespoon measure that I have found to be very useful. The price was a bit off-putting but I went for it, buying a set for my son and a set for me. Glad I did. The regular spoons have terrific bulbous polymer handles that give you the sense of working with a precision tool, and the stainless steel gleams; overall they are a pleasure to use. I feel like I am doing precision cooking. The tiny capacity set is as pictured. The spoons arrived quickly and were well packaged. I'm glad I took a chance on these.

It's important to me as an online shopper for the product I purchase to be just what it was said to be online in the description and photos. This set of measuring spoons absolutely hits the mark. The 5 piece standard set was the reason for the purchase and one of the selling points for me was the silicone handle. I can't tell you how many times my hands have slipped when adding, pouring, or transferring hands trying to hold on to a thin handle. This silicone handle eliminated that problem. The mini set is brilliant offering measuring sizes for a drop, smidgen, pinch, dash, and tad! Thanks for making this product live up to it's description and photos it's perfect! This will make the perfect gift for so many of my friends who bake and love being in the kitchen.

I bought these measuring spoons mainly because I needed the mini spoons. I have found that they are very good quality metal, not flimsy like some others I have. I really like that the size is engraved on the spoons, not printed. I have a set that is printed and it wears off after awhile.. I also like that the mini spoons have both, the exact measurement, 1/8, 1/16 etc., printed on them as well as words, dash, drop, etc. They have long handles that fit well into spice jars. The regular size spoons have a coating on the handle that prevents them from slipping out of your hand. All in all, a quality product. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I make all types of hard cheeses. The culture amounts used can be extremely small. In the past, the mini spoons I ordered had names engraved on them (pinch, tad, smidgen etc.) These smaller spoons that I recently ordered have BOTH the actual size & the names engraved such as those listed above. This saves me time from having to memorize or look what size a "pinch" is etc. This set is the best of the best. High quality. Highly recommended!

We recently ordered three sets of the Chef Elite Measuring Spoons and love them! They are sturdy stainless steel with deep “bowls” in the spoons to make filling them and measuring easy. We also love the rubber handles on the larger spoons. It makes them easy to hold on to when our “cooks hands” are wet or slippery. Also, we’ve never had a set of measuring spoons that measure a pinch, tad, dash or drop. It’s nice to finally know what that means and looks like! Every cook and kitchen should have a set of these spoons. We plan to keep one set for ourselves and give the other two as gifts.T&LPoway, CA

I really wanted to like this set. They are sturdy and I like how they name off pinch, dash, etc with the smaller spoons. However when I did a test comparing measurements against my regular cooking set using sugar and flour, it was soooo far off and significantly lesser in measurement amount. If accuracy isn't required for your use, then the set is fine. However for what I needed this set for, I require my measurements to be accurate so I had to unfortuately return these.
