The only adjustment, like any mask, was getting used to breathing warm air. I never feel like my breath is compromised wearing this mask, I can still take very deep inhales/exhales, etc. And the best part of all, I feel no exhale on my face or anywhere surrounding the mask, making me feel safe that the mask is secure. It is comfortable to wear for an hour straight, while sweating and working out! These are not appropriate to help stop transmission. If you look at one of the pictures showing the inside of the mask you will see that the air valve is open directly from inside to outside of the mask, so air exhaled goes directly from inside the mask to the outside without going through any filter media, so a person infected could be releasing unfitted breath out. Most masks with removal filter media have a pocket in which the removable media slips. This mask does not and so the stiff removable stiff media is pokes directly on the face. This is very uncomfortable. Plus the removable media does not cover the entire surface of the outside fabric, so not all the air coming into the mask comes through both layers. The outside layer is very porous so this mask, I feel, isn't very good from stopping particles from getting in. This mask should only be used like shown in the advertising pictures in the ad, exercising, wood working, etc. It is not appropriate for COVID-19 purposes. **Q: Does this mask have any N rating at all ?** A: This is a dust mask.
