Excellent
Little dent on back. Effects nothing. Works great. High end. I have no issues. I take care of my equipment well. Backlighting works correctly and looks good. 10 months in, still going strong. It’s not fragile, or built poorly. Either those people who rate it poorly due to it breaking don’t know how to take care of their stuff properly, or the deliveries were messed up.

Amazing machine overall
I bought this laptop for sheer hardcore gaming. The RTX 2070 SUPER paired with the i7-10850h gives amazing performance with good cooling for the specs. My GPU usually hangs around 72⁰ while the CPU gets more toasty, at about 84⁰. I haven't noticed any thermal throttling yet, so that's a plus. The build quality is pretty good, metal lid, hard plastic interior. Doesn't feel cheap. I would recommend this for anyone who has the money over other branded laptops with similar specs.

Terrible Warranty Service
After over 10 years of using ASUS Motherboards, components, laptops, and routers, my trust in ASUS is at an end.On July 3rd 2021 I shipped this unit (purchased 12/20/2020) to ASUS for repair under. This was the first time I have ever had to send in an ASUS product for repair. After a little over 2 weeks in their hands they claimed to have sent it back but it never arrived. It took two months of calls and emails to finally get them to send a replacement, and that only happened after endless calls and emails to FedEx myself because ASUS refused to actually take any action beyond simply looking at tracking information. Responses to emails sent to ASUS took several days each time. At one point I was promised a brand new replacement would be sent, but they sent a refurb ; so I get a used product that I have no way of knowing how it was used/treated by the whoever originally had it or why it ended up as a unit available to sent as a replacement to another customer. When all is said and done, I feel ASUS has grown out of touch and no longer cares about it's customers so after somewhere between 10-15 years of almost exclusively buying ASUS when I was purchases an item that ASUS makes I am done, I will not be buying ASUS again.

Great performance and lots of extras
Easy setup with the provided tools. Performance is even faster than I expected, reboots only take 35 seconds making the initial installs really quick. Graphic quality is amazing with NVIDIA GeForce Experience making configuring game settings simple. There is some fan noise when they kick up to full speed but it is easy to get used to. This is my 3rd Asus computer, I highly recommend them!

Awesome
Awesome machine. Great laptop for the money. Especially the 2020 model. Mine is the 2070s with 1tb ssd and it does not get hot at all. Very surprised with how quiet the fans are and how little heat it puts out. My only complaint is the speakers are weak.

Broken after 4 months
The audio jack stopped working. I only purchased this laptop 3-4 moths ago. To make a long story short, Asus support had me do everything from reinstalling drivers to factory resetting the laptop and nothing worked. The only option they gave me is to send it in for a minimum of 2 weeks plus shipping. Not really an option as I use this for school and work as well. So I'm stuck with a broken laptop and there is nothing I can do about it as Asus has exactly ZERO authorized repair centers. I cant even return it at this point. As far as performance goes, the laptop's thermals are straight garbage and throttles under moderate load. Dont get baited by the specs

Awesome laptop, but...
Edit: I’m afraid I had to take away one star, for the power brick and cord,(see below). It really would be an awesome laptop if more thought had been put into the power supply.———————————————————————For the price, this is an awesome laptop. Very powerful, and future protected for a while.Three problems, though...1. The power cord is way too short. The cord from the outlet to the brick is a good 6 feet, but the cord from the brick to the laptop isnonly about 4 feet. This means you often have a taught cord, and if you aren’t careful can have a brick hanging from your laptop. My previous laptop was the ASUs G73, and it’s power cord was the other way around. The long cord was on the laptop side and thr short cord was on the mains side, as it should be. Whoever designed the power cord needs to be fired....from a cannon......into a cement wall.2. The keyboard backlighting.Yes, it is backlit, but only at the center. You can’t see the secondary function on the key. For example, the Fn keys, you can see the system controls, but you can’t see what Fn number it is.Luckily most of us have the Fn keys memorized by now, but again, whomever thought it was a good idea to replace the Fn key’s actual function indicator with the system control indicator was nobody’s friend.3. The power brick runs extremely hot when operating in “Turbo” mode. So hot you’ll need every spare heatsink you can find (see photo), to keep it cool.
