Dustless Chalk, 6-Piece, Assorted Color (DCC-6-3C)

My husband was incredulous that I ordered imported chalk. "Just use the  Crayola Chalk  that you already have!" It took eight weeks to arrive, but it miraculously arrived unbroken (not in a box; just in its clam shell packaging with the shipping label attached directly to it) and far exceeds what I was using before. They're thicker than standard chalk (and do not fit in my  Charles Leonard Chalk Holder ) but they're stronger and write SO MUCH BETTER on all my chalkboard surfaces! Worth the wait and lives up to the hype!EDIT: I recommend the  Rikagaku Dustless Chalk Holder (DC-CH) , too.

Wonderful chalk. I bought a very cheap chalk board that is not smooth at all, I'm honestly hesitant to call it a chalk board it might actually be plastic. Anyway, it's hard to write on and erase, I have tried several brands hoping to find something and am super happy to have stumbled across this brand. It writes soooo smooth, even on my bumpy surface. It comes off easily and has made using the chalkboard much easier. Extremely happy with this product and will be buying more when the first set runs down. Also, I noticed some reviewers complaining about broken chalk, mine came whole and since the plastic container the chalk is shipped in is spaced for each individual piece of chalk, I'm gonna assume rough shipping was the cause of their problems and not the chalk being of poor flimsy quality.

Doesn't write that well, but it's relatively dustless.

This chalk is amazing! I bought this as I was tired of trying to discern what was going on when my professors were trying to overlay several plots on the same graph.I tried it out before doling it out. It writes amazingly smooth, the colors are easy to see, the coating prevents your hands from drying out like most of the other stuff, and most importantly, the colors erase very well; even the red, unlike Crayola.The yellow has very good contrast on green boards, much better than white.

I am a teacher who hates using chalkboards but this chalk makes life better. Ha ha. :) It is smooth and durable. No scratchy sounds and it doesn’t seem to break as much. I really haven’t found a chalk I like better.

I like this chalk. I have a big chalkboard in my house on the kitchen wall for messages, etc,..that my grandkids like to draw on. It lives up to it's name- DUSTLESS Will def buy again

Much better than Crayola or Roseart but not as good as Hagoromo. The dust reducing coating is a nice feature and it writes very smoothly and erases very well.

Great colors but as far as dust free not sure that is accurate. My girls were covered in bright colored chalk dust and I had a challenge getting out of their closes but after multiple washes and spot treatments I was finally able to remove it from their clothes. I would recommend for adult use not small children.

These chalk sticks are a little shorter than standard chalk, but the chalk is one of the better Japanese chalks around ... and unlike most that become idiotically expensive by the time they get over here, these are relatively affordable. For professional mathematicians who work the chalkboard these are are certainly an improvement over most "dustless" chalk.

Asides from taking a long time to ship, I have really enjoyed this chalk. There is a coating on the outside to prevent your fingers from getting all chalky when holding them and they definitely produce a lot less dust than common brands. I wouldn't say they are dustless, but I have not found anything better.

描きやすいです。自宅の壁を黒板クロスにしたので購入しましたがこれはクロスの方が凹凸があるためチョークの減りは早く感じます。白色がないので白があると大変満足です。
