Technical details says no batteries required, is it true?

I bought it for my son around 3 months ago and it didnt need batteries and is still making noises etc.

What batteries does it take ?

Does it move around when switched on? or is it just lights and sound?

Hello. Thanks for your question. Press the 3 buttons on the side of the helicopter to activate the lights and 3 different sound effects. The four wheels on the bottom of the helicopter are driven by friction. You need to push it forward or pull it backward by hand and then let go, so that it will travel a distance forward or backward.

Can I put in new batteries ?

Great value

This was our three year old’s favourite birthday present. It’s really good quality (has been dropped on a stone floor a fair few times) and hasn’t aged at all. Great features - a button to make propeller go around, sound effects and a winch for a stretcher. Would have thought it would be double the price.

Need to keep pushing the button to get the blades to rotate.sometimes spins only briefly.the sound effects could do with working a bit longer. The friction is good and it travels a long way..
