KAIWEETS Silicone Multimeter Test Leads. I bought these to replace the test leads on a Uni-T meter, one of which had broken. I like the flexible copper cables that are a huge improvement over the stiff (and turns out fracture-prone) aluminium cables that came with the meter. The probe tips are fine and sharp - the gold plating being an added bonus. They came in a tough reusable plastic bag with tip and plug protectors. The reusable nature of the bag means no waste to throw away and will be jolly useful when transporting the meter and probes in a bag or toolbox. I'd been looking for replacements for a while. I wasn't after a kit of probes and clips and things. I just wanted a nice set of test leads for a sensible price to do electrical and pcb work and these fit the bill just perfect.

These were supposed to fit a FLUKE according to the advert. I have a Fluke and that's why I bought them. They do fit (ONLY JUST ) but you have to literally force them into the meter sockets, and then getting them out again required a screwdriver in my case. The leads them themselves are of good quality, but the fit is definitely not in my case at least !

I've just bought a cheap bench multimeter, and as usual it came with horrible pvc coated cables for the probes. I do like that this set uses banana jacks to connect to the probe tips, this allows more choice of tips and clips than those sets where everything has to connect to the fixed probe tips. It's a good idea having separate probe bodies, the large probes for high voltage would be no use to me, as a bench multimeter is mostly used to measure things on PCB's, low voltage and current etc. So it's great that there are a few different smaller probe body sets, croc clips etc. The silicone cables are great, they do not hold the bends in them from storage like pvc cables do, and should not melt if i accidently drag a lead over my soldering iron. My meters stock leads measure 0.20 ohms when the tips are held together, This lead / tip set this varies from 0.09 ohms to almost 0.73 ohms (the long needle tips with springs in them that others say cause issues like this) When measuring resistance i just need to remember to short the leads out and null my meter, and really i should be using 4 wire resistance measurements for anything that needs that much precision.

These are nicely made leads. Tangle free with good quality tips. The protective covers are a good fit
