Love the nutty taste and the whole grain benefits that is missing in white rice. It’s a rich nutty flavor that goes well with most vegetables and fish. There is a purple tint when water is added, but I understand the color is caused by a flavonoid in the rice called anthocyanin pigment (a type of antioxidant).

I refresh with the water 4 times still color comes out so I fill very sad and it is food safety hazard!!
