I am not a gamer, but wireless mice would sometimes briefly hang/stutter, so I went back to wireless. I have several old ones, but they don't work well without a mouse-pad (they skip around). The G203 works GREAT without a mouse-pad! The feel is good. I like a larger/heavier mouse for my larger hands. While not "heavy", the weight is good and the size is good (some mice feel tiny in my hand). Build quality is very solid. The DPI button is useful: in practice, it is like adjusting "pointer speed" in Windows. I assume if you need ultimate precision, use high DPI and low "pointer speed". No manual in box, but side of box tells you where to get the settings app if you want to change buttons/colors. I toned-down the colors a bit. Looked at many reviews on other mice. Very happy with this pick.
