MACKIECreator Bundle - CR-3X Monitors, EM-USB Microphone, MC-100 Headphones

I got this bundle on sale and it was well worth the price. The monitors sound clear as does the headphones. I also recorded with the microphone and the playback sounded very good.

Value for money.The mic records really well, sound from monitors is good, and headphones are a good quality too.

First impressions were not well. Upon opening up the box and taking out everything I saw the microphone was missing yet contained the documentation and its stand. I was super disappointed and reached out to Mackie support directly and I was left with no help and was told to contact the dealer / seller. I have contacted the dealer with no response in regards to the monitors unbearable hiss, the missing microphone, and the distinct rattle in the headphones left ear. Now for the monitors which makes this purchase even more of a inconvenience and disappointment. While I was aware that active budget monitors would likely have a slight hiss that would be unnoticeable when playing audio, I was not expecting these to be as bad as they were. They have a loud hiss that can be heard across the room, regardless of its input and this is with different outlets. The hiss even increases with the volume knob and is audible regardless to what is being played and its volume. The headphones while the least disappointing has one big turn off; the left ear has a loud and audible rattle when audio is being played that can be heard at all volumes even the lowest. The microphone aside that could have been replaced, I will be returning this unit to get my money back and get a different set of monitors from another brand. HOWEVER, had I not had these issues this bundle has insane value and should not be overlooked because of my poor experience, so while this may work out well for some, do keep a lookout for these issue that completely wipe out the value of this bundle.
