Great all around printer. Set up was mostly easy, but exhaustive. I'm pretty sure this thing asked me 50 questions in the process. Also--there is no set up instructions---you just start doing it. There are a few features that I would like to take advantage of, but can't figure out how. Anyway--as expected, HP makes great printers. Excellent print quality (I suspect it will be an ink guzzler) Pleasing to the eye--although all my life I have had black printers, lol.

This printer is so much better than the previous printer issued by HP, however I am still having problems with printing envelopes! HP tech is USELESS! If you need help do not call them, lack of response and lack of returning phone calls!!

I usually buy a reconditioned printer and run it till the wheels fall off. I've never been disappointed. This one was easy to set up and had all the features I wanted. Great! However, and it's a big HOWEVER, it seems HP has perfected the Gillette marketing strategy. You know, practically give you the razor and charge an arm and a leg for the blades? The “blades” in this incidence are the ink cartridges. The ink cartridges for this little jewel will set you back at least $35.00 EACH! I have never purchased manufacturers ink. Instead I've always brought third party refills at typically one tenth the price of factory ink. Despite all the dire warnings and propaganda by printer manufacturers I've never had any problems with the quality of the printed page and they have never ruined my printer. I kind of suspect it all comes from big tanks somewhere in China anyway. After I purchased the printer I found that no one is refilling cartridges for the 8020 series Officejet Pro. Judging by some of the comments here where the reviewers couldn't get the printer setup because the printer shipped with the “wrong” cartridges I have a sinking feeling that the cartridges, themselves are “chipped.” That is, each cartridge has a chip in it that communicates with the printer. After it prints so many pages that cartridge will always read empty even it it's full of ink regardless which 8020 series HP printer you put it in. A couple of decades back another printer manufacturer tried the same thing. I won't name them because I'm not sure I remember the name but before long someone came out with a chip reset device and ruined their fun. I'm hoping someone does the same for HP....soon!

My last printer finally gave up.... it was a cannon and there was little I liked about that printer from the start. When I found this one I really liked most of the reviews, I liked the abilities of this printer, and I loved the price. I get refurbished tech all the time from Amazon with NO REGRETS! This Printer is no exception! Set up ~ SUPER EASY. 10 minutes. The only problem was that I couldn't get it to do the alignment. I thought that it meant I got a bad printer ~ not at all. I ran the alignment several times without much luck. I thought maybe I received a bad ink cartridge so I went and purchased more. However, before putting those in I printed out a few things and the color started to improve. Then it just worked great. Maybe the ink cartridge had a block or something..... but it works great and I am ready with the new ink when needed. NO required ink purchase from HP ~ SKIP that step, it is not an issue. CHECK COSTCO ~ when I went to Costco to get ink I saw that they had the next model up from this printer ($299.00) new for only $179.99 ~ $20 dollars more than I paid for this refurbished one. This was in my budget and I am loving it!! Don't hesitate and do not worry about refurbished ~ I have gotten iPhones, iPads, and Printers from amazon refurbished and literally never had a problem.

I'm always reading the reviews before I purchase something so once I read that this one was a good buy, we bought it! I was mainly looking for something that would scan to email with all the other All in One features and this one is perfect. We don't print much, just schoolwork for the kids and scanning documents to email but having this at home is very convenient. Keeps you from running around trying to find somewhere to print, scan and copy!

There isn't anything that I didn't like about my all n one printer. I Love all the features, and the simplicity of using it with my mobile device. Once I installed the appropriate apps, I was able 2 conduct my personal business very easy. Click on the designated order,on my phone for the printer where ever I am and it does the rest. Being mobile is great!!!!!!!!

Printer is operational and work wells. Great price as refurbished equipment. Not a fan of HP's smart ink service, so I did not activate. I will use less expensive remanufactured ink cartridges. Great as a home printers. I recommend thumbs up!!!

Teacher requested a HP printer, she loves it and looks forward to ordering another one in the near future. Great print quality.
