Love this moisturizer. It is not cheap, but it's worth what I spend on it. It is a concentrated product, so you don't need much. This product can be used by naturals and relaxed hair. I am African American.I have thick, coarse relaxed hair. My hair is just past my shoulders. When I say I don't even need a dime size amount of this product to moisturize all of my hair, I mean it. This product makes my hair feel soft, detangled and smooth. Even my new growth responds to this product! This product does not weigh my hair down at all. I still have plenty of bounce and flowy movement to my hair. If you have frizzy, curly hair, this product will help that too. Keep in mind not to use too much. Great product. I will repurchase and I would recommend.

I have coarse dry 3b hair and use this as a detangler/leave-in. I bought because it has so far been the only conditioner that is sulfate/silicone/glycerin free and I pray they don't change the ingredients.This is a bit too light for me, but others might like that. My curls felt plumped and volumized and full after using. Worked better on a wash and go under gel than with a set style (braid out/twist out) in my experience.It does get foamy and frothy in the shower, which alarmed me since it was so similar to a sulfate shampoo, but so far so good. I wish it was more affordable (or I wish I could find it in stores so I don't have to worry about shipping costs!), because a lot of it leaks out when combing and plopping. However, I will still likely reorder it if I keep having these nice consistent results.

I bought this conditioner for my mom for Mother's Days since she has a mixture of 3-type curls and could never find the right product. So many products have mango in them which she is allergic to. It was hard to find one that doesn't have mango, doesn't smell like coconut or fruit, is reasonably priced, and is light weight enough for fine loose curls but can cater to tighter, thicker hair types. This product did just that and her hair LOVES it! It's moisturizing, has a smooth creamy texture, has an extremely light almost not existent scent, and is affordable. This product is intended to be used **without** conditioning your hair first. I think this could be great for hair that doesn’t need a ton of moisture or for before heat styling but it does NOT work well with my 2c hair. However, I do love Giovani products - the lightweight feel, subtle scent and good quality are consistent with the other Giovani products I love.

Not sure about some other reviews but I LOVE this WEIGHTLESS conditioner. You use very very little. I apply it to my hair right after I shower barely putting a towel to my head. I use about a quarter to half dollar mixed in my hands into my wet hair so it distributes easily and I dont over apply it. My hair is transitioning to grey long curly low porosity hair. My hair can get so tangled sometimes I have to use regular conditioner on the ends and comb it thru with a wide tooth comb. I rinse that out then I apply this conditioner as described above. The scent is so clean and fresh smelling I have had compliments. Your hair is so manageable soft and shiny with this conditioner. So afraid it will be like my last "find" and it will be discontinued so I bought 3 today. One bottle has lasted about 2 months and that was over applying sometimes until I went with wet hair application. All I can say is I am impressed and I have been trying everything. So. It's a great product and I am not switching anytime soon.

Tried this base on other reviews and I am pleasantly surprised! This leave-in does its job! I'm wearing a short, texturized cut and this is the perfect weight for that...I get moisturized hair but not heavy, weighed down hair. I did have a learning curve...I find that putting this in soaking wet hair is a no-no, it foamed up a lot and it became necessary to rinse a good bit out. Second time around, I applied it to damp hair after washing in the shower and yes, that's the ticket! I live in the south, and this is just right for summer or anytime you want a lighter leave-in...this with a little cream styler and I'm done...after that, during the week I can add a little of this or just a moisturizer as needed. Will definitely purchase again. oh, and no need to be heavy handed, a little goes a long way.
