I recommend this product as well as the shampoo, especially if you are looking for a shampoo and conditioner free of harmful sulfates, parabens, propylene glycol, phthalates, artificial dyes and more. Also, if you have fine or dry hair prone to breakage, this is a great shampoo. I put this conditioner on the ends of my hair and brush it in before I wet my hair and proceed to shampoo. It works magic on my dry hair. I have spent so much money on very expensive shampoos and conditioners without any satisfaction. When I tried this, my hair looked great and has ever since. This will always be my go-to shampoo and conditioner.

This conditioner is one of the best conditioners i have used in quite a while. Its very moisturizing and leaves my hair very soft and my 4b coils defined even after i rinse it out and is great for detangling. I've noticed that since I've been using this conditioner and the shampoo from this line that my hair stays moisturized throughout the week until I'm ready to wash it. This conditioner along with the shampoo makes my hair regimen a lot simpler because a lot of us 4 type hair girls battle with dry hair and have to moisturize and seal on a daily basis. But with this product I only mositurize and seal twice a week which includes my wash day and the next day to style my hair. Im also in protective styles(EX: Braids, twists, buns ect.) 100% of the time so that also contributes to the moisture retention. This product works best with steam from your shower or from a hair steamer i must add. I believe my hair is low porosity so if you have low porosity hair i suggest using this with steam. the steam will allow the conditioner to penetrate better than just a regular plastic cap or bonnet dryer.

My hair loves this product, and it smells so good! My hair has become very dry as I get older, so I need a more moisturizing conditioner. I also use this as a base for my Sukesh Ayurveda henna hair masques because it provides a lot of slip when rinsing out the henna...overall, just a great conditioner for my 4b/c hair.

Let me start off by stating that I have 4b/c hair. Not just curly or thick but dense. To the point when it is soaked in water, it shrinks up to 75%. Anyway I received this conditoner today in the mail (Thanks Amazon/USPS!) and when I smelled the nozzle it reminded me of lotion. The packaging is nice with the different shades of green to represent the olive and avocado, but let me get to the hair part ☺. After I washed my hair with Jasön Dandruff shampoo, i pumped this conditoner into my hair and lathered it all around my edges first to feel the consistency. It is green when pumped out and very thick but smooth. When applied to my 4c hair it gives a moist lather but for all my naturals out there, don't think once you slab a palm size amount in your hair your curl pattern will magically change or melt, it is the outcome of the rinse that matters. So after i rinsed it out, i did notice my hair was softer and it felt cleaner. Overall a very nice product and can not wait to reuse it.

This conditions so well. My hair got dried out from dandruff shampoo. I was devastated but this conditioner restored its soft silkiness. It does so better than the 16 other products I tried before finding it. Also, it is not over-scented like its competitors. It has a faint, pleasant smell that is not cloying and fades away (thank goodness). I hate highly perfumed body products.

Smells good, feels good, and it worked for my hair. I began to have knots and tangles. I saw a youtube video about using this product to hydrate hair. I've used other products but got the same results. Every 3 days I shampoo my hair with the hydrating shampoo and this hydrating conditioner. I no longer have knots and detangling is easy. I like it although a little pricey.

I have been using this conditioner for a couple of years now, and I always get commented at the salon by how supple, soft, and hydrated my hair looks and feels. Can't recommend enough

2023 Revision I've been natural for 6 years. A few years ago I decided to try this product again and had great success with hair moisture and softness. I believe that this is for two reasons. First, my original order was probably from a bad batch. I never experienced so-so result again like I did originally. Second, when I was a 'new' natural I was transitioning. I had some permed hair and natural hair. The new natural hair was unruly and didn't like many products. This item is definitely one of my current conditioning staples. Along with my homemade mixes (fresh aloe plant & Distilled water for mid week moisture; raw Shea butter mixed with coconut oil & vegetable glycerin). 2017 Original 3 star I am a new-ish natural with 4b/4c hair and co-wash frequently with Vo5 Moisture Milks & Giovanni products. I was in search of a deep conditioner. I love Giovanni 50/50 conditioner and the direct leave in conditioner so quickly bought this deep conditioner. My review is as follows: CONS - It didn't moisturize my hair as expected. It made it hard as though proteins are in the ingredients. I had to use Giovanni 50/50 conditioner to soften my hair after using this deep conditioner. - I gave the conditioner to a natural 4c colleague and she didn't like it either. Says it made her hair hard as well. PROS - Product for natural hair - This may work well with textures other than 4b/4c or those seeking hair strength - Arrived as expected - Quality packaging - It's a Giovanni product - The tube is convenient and easy to handle Note 1: I now use Giovanni Smooth as Silk Deep Conditioner and love it. Note 2: I'm a newish natural because I was wearing a weave for 5 years and have been weave free for 8 months as I learn to nurture the texture.

Tolles Produkt, ich finde die Marke Giovanni ganz toll. Habe eine super empfindliche Kopfhaut und kann normale Shampoos aus den drogeriemärkten nicht benutzen, spätestens nach einem Monat fängt meine Kopfhaut zu jucken und wird immer schlimmer bis sie wund ist daher bin ich auf die Linie Giovanni umgestiegen bzw habe es ausgetestet und siehe da kein Wund kratzen mehr, kann die Produkte nur empfehlen wer sehr sehr empfindlich ist. Benutze Givonnai schon sehr lange. Und ist schonend zur Locken :))

I have course fine frizzy hard to control hair which is going gray. I started using this with the matching shampoo (which I use a few times per week) about 6 months ago. My hair looks and feels amazing! I don't even feel the need to cover my grays anymore. I sleep on a satin pillowcase and can get away without doing anything to my hair some days. Me love!
