I purchased this tower as a quick budget saver and that's what I got! It's sturdy and can be put together in 5 minutes, very easy instructions and you get allot of bang for your buck. It is for small to medium cats though. The chill spot for them to rest on the circle mount is very small as well as the condo part! PERFECT for kitten stage but a fun grown cat or a fat cat could never actually post up on this one! It is a good product for a small cat and a sturdy piece though

Broke first day I do not recommend this for cats over 10 pounds

First off, the height is very much exaggerated. This thing is maybe 47" tall, at best. The inaccurate product description is the only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars, it is a decent cat tree and you can't beat the price.Like the other reviews said, it is quite small, good for a young kitten or adult ferret. My kitten is 9 months and already a little big for it, but its a start.He can't use the hammock or tunnel, but he loves to climb up and attack the mouse. Again, like the other reviews said, he attacked that before it was out the box. Lucky for me, this mouse seems to be firmly attached. The carpet material, hammock, and mouse are held onto the board with hot glue, so I can't say how long they'll last.You do get that distinct Chinese factory smell when its first out the box (try to have some ventilation, open a window or something because its quite powerful) but that will go away in a day or 2.Wish I could add photos, but that doesn't seem to be supported on mobile :(

My 8lb 6 month old cat loves this little tower. He's pretty wild when he's playing on it and I'm not sure the tube at the top will hold up to much more of his play. He likes to wind himself through and around and under it- he pulls himself around with his claws mostly and swings his body around. The cardboard of the tube is not sturdy so he has already (2 weeks in) bent it enough that it's loose on the post. The screw is tight but the tube wiggles. He doesn't care about the hammock or the stairs but he loves the rest of it.UPDATE: the tube lasted 2 more days before it came completely off.

My little guy LOVES his tower! I barely had it assembled and he was already exploring it. There's something about the blue velveteen fabric that is like kitty crack to him as he will scratch and gnaw at different parts of the tower. The cylinder on top is too short for him to lay in even though he's only 8 lbs, but he does stick his head in there and sniff/scratch around. He likes to sit on the tippy top, lording over everything. He has not gotten into the hammock, but he will pull on the ropes suspending it like a toy. He went gaga for the mouse toy and had pulled it pff by the next morning. The mouse was only attached by thin elasted string, which he snapped after one day, so I wish that was a stronger string. Overall I am so happy with how much he enjoys it. The materials are fairly sturdy, but it does wobble a little when he launches on or off it. I'm thinking of getting some blocks to weight it down. But I'm definitely satisfied with my purchase and it's s a great value for the price!

My cats loved it immediately. They throw in an extra screw in case you don't want to add an edition. I think its pretty sturdy but like I know it won't last more than 2 years with my chunky cats.

Great for my kitten! However she is now going on 6 months and I can see that the tree is becoming too small for her so I will be buying a new one for my new place and leave the small one at my parent's house so she has one when we visit. It doesnt wobble when she runs to the top but she has a hard time getting into the top tube and sprawls ontop of it instead. She LOVED the mousey that hung but broke that within the first month. There was a very strong smell that came with it so I washed it down with some febreeze and let it air and now the smell is hardly noticeable unless you intentionally try to sniff it. All in all I would recommend this cat tower for anyone with kittens or small cats.

I purchased this product for my niece who recently purchased a new home. The cat was recently spaded but still had a tendency to claw at the furniture. Thus far since they have the new tree the cat is engaged in playtime and perching on the top of the post, viewing active children below. The top perch and hammock seem a bit small for an average size cat. I think the product is more suited for a kitten.

It's good for lighter cats, I have a Maine Coon and he could knock the box part over
