As soon as you clip these on, you know you made a great choice. Perfect tight fit, allows you to trim with the confidence that the cheapie guards are not going to fall off and cause you to gap it up. Very sturdy and well made, which makes your clippers truly feel like one solid machine. I've been cutting my own hair for 28 years, and I wish I'd bought these 28 years ago. The only thing that would make this set better is to include the 1.5" and 1/2" guards which are crucial for tapering and fade. Also bought the big boy 10 and 12, which are also extremely well made (no metal). I feel like a pro barber now, and honestly, I'm better than any barber at my cut now. Savings> 10,000+

These are so much better than the ones included with the clippers. Everyone mentioned the same but no one explained exactly why.Unlike others, I experienced a much easier time taking these in and out, much easier than the full plastic ones. The metal click gives you a premium feel.These guides are made of a much stronger plastic. Curiously, the plastic is slightly thinner, but once you get to play with them, you'll see that they flex less, so you will be getting a much better haircut, with less mistakes. The big problem with the included guides is that they flex with a minimal change in pressure, producing worse results. No problem with these. The metal has nothing to do with the sturdiness as others mentioned, the metal is only for the looks and also to attach them to the clipper, but what makes these ones so much better is the way stronger plastic.I also like the design. At the very little top end of the guides these have a little curve pointing up that allows for better grip of your hair, especially if you are cutting long hair.Very happy with the purchase!

I lost the trimmer guard for my Wahl pro trimmer that I use to trim my beard. I like to keep it just a little longer than a stubble. Found these. They are from Wahl and fit all Wahl Pro trimmers. It includes a number of sizes from very close to very long guards. Unlike those that came with my trimmer, these are reinforced with metal making them more durable. Also the case makes them easy to keep organized.

These attachments are excellent as they fit perfectly on all my Wahl clippers. Their sturdiness surpasses that of the plastic ones that typically come with clipper kits, resulting in a sharper cut.

The quality of these guards are far better than any other guards out there that are made for Wahl Clippers. They hold up and are nearly indestructible.
