My dog has been using these for 3 years; no problems
My dog is 9 lbs. and is mostly an indoor pet. I take him for walks but he does not go potty outside. He never has. We got him when he was six months old and he was already pee pad trained. My husband and I work different shifts. He is constantly being mandated to do over time. So a potty schedule is hard to manage. Our home is all tiled; only a few throw rugs, due to my allergies. So when I bought my first throw rug he did go on it. But I threw it in a washer after telling him no. I caught him ready to go on it a couple more times, repeated no and haven't had a problem since. I gave him his own rug under his dishes and one at the bottom of the couch to lay on when the floor is cold. He learned very quickly that these were not pee pads. I know some people say if you let your dog use pee pads, he will use the carpet as a pee pad, too. Training and consistency is the rule for any animal (not to mention child, :-) ha ha). I love these they are well made, hold a lot of urine and are large enough for our pet. He is three years old now and still uses pee pads. I bought the extra large pee pad holder and have these auto shipped every other month. When I have too many boxes I stop shipment for awhile until the use catches up. Then I auto ship again. The poop is flushed down the toilet and the pads thrown away. Its no different or worse than following a pet around outside until they go and then cleaning up. We have a town pet cleanup policy. Our yard is always clean. I probably would not recommend it for large dogs. I don't think the pads are big enough. Great for people living in the city, apartments, senior facilities, etc. I would highly recommend for small dogs.Orders always come in this great box and very fast. I hope this review helps you.

Leak proof as advertised
I noticed that these pads are rated only a score of 3.5, they must be peeing over the max these pads advertise can take. I have been using them for years and that leak proof 3.5 score should be a 4.7 at least. These are the best on the market by far.

Best pads out there
Large enough for the dog that likes to take a lot of room to do their “business” and super absorbent; always dry on the other side of the pad when I go to throw it out.

Best training pads out there.
These are simply the best puppy pads on the market. We've tried pads from Petsmart, from the grocery store. We've tried several different brands. Most of them tend to be small and thin, requiring us to lay down many, many pads in order to cover the area where the dog is being trained. That said, I just love these Four Paws pads. The Extra Large pads really are that - they're huge. The surface has a nice soft cotton feel to it, but is smooth and quilted. The underside is a blue plastic, preventing anything from soaking into the floor beneath. We've started using these pads for other spills - in the garage underneath oil drips, or when we're changing the oil; in the kitchen for drastic spills. The pads are treated with some sort of scent, which encourages the dog to use them - and the dog does use them! The only down side is that if you walk across a wet pad (not that you would want to, but things happen in the middle of the night), they can slide and potentially cause a fall. Be careful.I can't recommend these pads enough.

These are much thicker than others
Thicker and of all the pads I have tried so far these work best, super absorbent. I just wish they weren't so expensive.

No leaks
Dachshund uses in 3 spots on one pad for urine. No 💩. He does that outside, but I’m sure they work just as well for 💩 if your dog has good aim.

Large surface, great absorbency
Perfect for potty training our labrador pup. Absorbs well and keeps the scent just enough for our pup to come back to his spot every time. Great large surface area. We actually just moved the pad under a thin square of fake grass to start getting our pup used to grass texture. Works great!

Don leak
We have an 11 year old shitzu who is senile and most of his habits have reverted to puppy hood. He was initially trained on these papers so we have gone back to them . They are the only ones that dont leak onto the floor.
