Typhon Cat6 Direct Burial Outdoor Network Cable Solid Pure Copper UTP 23AWG UV Resistant

Used for direct burial between 2 buildings for a quote to a customer. As it was a full reel, I was hoping to stock some back on the shelf for a future job. I should have paid closer attention to the specs.

We wanted to minimize use of wi-fi. We buried this cable between the house and room above separate garage. Quality of connection is excellent. We are going to use it for some other ethernet wiring around the house. I did need to buy a crimping tool to put the necessary CAT5/6 connectors - no surprise - and easy to do with the right tool.

Ran this underground in conduit about 90' to garage and it works fine with 4k cameras and Asus wireless router. Connects at 1ghz.

I dont write reviews but my brother "Mr. IT expert" told me this cable deserves recognition. This is the second cable we used when we upgraded our Camera System. All cameras working with no problem. The length was perfect for our (5) camera project. Waiting on our Tax return to start the "Network" project with "Mr. IT expert".

I've had more shorts with this cable than any outdoor cable I've ever had. The sheathing is very thin and does not have a protective layer in the cable. There is no proper insulation for it being an outdoor cable. Will never buy again. Nothing like having to get back up on a hot roof again to run cable just because it shorted while pulling it through conduit. Tugging on the cable is liable to give you a short.

I am a DIY dad, one weekend we ran 2 cables from the router to the pool and the garage. This cable was easy to work with and good quality. This was perfect for my Ubiquiti devices. So far so good and happy with the purchase.
