The woodwork itself is nice, good sturdy stuff with nicely curved features. It is well packaged and that's likely the only thing that saved it from serious damage in shipping. They may want to consider other shipping arrangements as the packages took a lot of abuse and arrived with deep punctures and scrapes.

The quality of workmanship, material, sturdiness and comfort of this set is impressive. We chose teak for its durability. The front seat of the chairs curve down making seating comfortable; no hard ridge compressing the back of one's knee or leg. The chairs are a nice size and built to last. The table & chairs are more sturdy than other sets we've seen. They have screw in plastic glider buttons attached to the bottom of all legs to protect flooring . The color is beautiful and will be more so after we prep it for Oregon weather with teak oil. The unique but sturdy table leaves store underneath the table's top. This nifty feature allows you to extend the table with either one leaf or two very easily. Although it doesn't appear in the description or photos, there is a hole on the table for an umbrella.The set arrived on time and was well packaged. The price is more than reasonable for what you get.I am a building contractor who has many years experience with the building of different wood products. This teak patio dining set needed about 3 hours to assemble. I would have given it 5 stars for assembly ease if if better dowels had been provided. The fairly easy assembly saves you hundreds of dollars over comparable quality sets bought from a store.George/ Oregon

There is no doubt that this was a great value. However, one of the chairs was warped and did not assemble properly. The company shipped a replacement chair at no cost to us. Thus, the problem was remedied quickly and painlessly. Also, some of the teak pegs in the assembly split and broke...not ideal. If I had to do it over again, I probably would have applied the teak oil before assembly (so that all the parts got covered). However, as it is...this is good quality teak and now that it is assembled, we love it!

Love the patio set! Extremely easy to assemble. 3 tools to complete your project. Rubber mallet, a little dish soap and brown gorilla glue is all you would need. Though I did not receive the umbrella plug and has been requested.

Beautiful table, the finish, smooth sanding is lovely. Really pretty easy to assemble, have a drill, soap and a rubber mallet and it's pretty straightforward after you learn on the first chair ;)

This is an awesome set. Beautiful wood. I put teak oil on the set and it is gorgeous. Took an extra 2 days on shipping. No problem for me. My husband put the table together in one day.

This is a beautiful set of furniture! We decided to NOT oil the teak and it has turned a beautiful soft gray color in about four months. I would advise you to take care during the assembly process. Some of the dowels are a very tight fit and you risk splitting some of the smaller pieces if you don't drill the holes out a little larger.
