Pura vida: Beginning Spanish (Spanish Edition)

This book came on the first day I was told it would arrive. That was one good thing. The other, it came with an access code(which I thought it wouldn't) so I was very happy with that! The book fits well in a binder and is exactly what I needed and I got it for a good price.

I payed $100 for what amounted to an unbound stack of cheap paper with a half-decent Spanish book printed on it. Seriously, you have to bind it yourself in a 3-ring binder, the cheap paper rips and falls out, then your $100 book plus $5 binder is crinkled and missing pages. I wanted to print out the missing pages but it doesn't even come with a digital copy. This is a college textbook that is supposed to last at least a year of Spanish, but it didn't even hold up for 8 weeks. No really, buy the digital copy and pay some office store to print and bind it for you.

I strongly discourage you to buy this book. Unfortunately, I had to buy it and I had to buy the access to the online program, which is another 140$. The book is completely unsuitable for beginners, it requires knowledge of the Spanish language, because it doesn't explain key vocabulary or grammar. The online program is incredibly overpriced and user unfriendly, the webdesign seems to be from 2010. If you can, save your money and change course!

The book was ok, it was my mistake of thinking that the Wiley code was attached. It is not.

This book DID NOT come with ACCESS CODE. Very Disappointed! Book is nice paperback, with lots of needed information. Book arrived late.

No page numbers, and no ability to search the book for anything. Worst ebook I've ever had.

I have the textbook and activities manual. They are both useless without the online program. I hear it’s expensive…..
