I spent some time looking for reviews from people who had added this to an existing GT-AX11000 for an AI Mesh setup but couldn’t find any. So in the end I took the plunge and bought it - and it works great! I’ve been able to optimise the 3 wifi bands by using an Ethernet backhaul connection, so all wifi devices now have just one ssid and password, with the mesh system handling channel handoff etc. I’m very happy so far with this upgrade to my home network system, as it has eliminated a few dead zones and made connections easier.

Easy to use and setup, parental controls are excellent. Much better than BT equipment even with the boosters which did nothing for me. Glad I made the investment for this setup

After installing this router my Virgin media signal has gone from sporadic at best to solid, fast signal all the time. The range and wall permeability are outstanding

Works perfectly when using as a standalone router, but if using as AiMesh, it uses WiFi 6 for the mesh connection between routers and hence other devices can't use WiFi 6 making it a WiFi 5 router only. I had to return this just because of WiFi 6 missing in mesh mode...

I kept my old Asus router and thought getting a new faster one with meshing would cover my needs.. Well, the new router causes our devices to drop their wifi connection. ASUS support wanted me to do a factory reset and waste my time doing diagnosis for them. If that didn't work they would raise a defect with their development group. Sorry, no deal - I didn't't by a new router to waste my time fixing their problems.Its going back.

great work with ai mesh system

Very happy with this. You may need to change setting on you existing ISP provided modem/router so that it only works as a modem, as this device does not connect to wall sockets via the ADSL connector that most residential users will have in their homes.. So long as you can do this, using instructions you can search online for, this router is prooving to be excellent!

Keeps dropping WAN connection , wifi LAN very good

un excellent routeur ! pas toujours facile a configurer (comme beaucoup d'autres) mais qui fait le boulot avec d'excellentes performances (vitesse wifi et longueur de la portée) firmware régulièrement mis a jour (c'est super important pour une évolution matériel et amélioration des fonctions)pour mon système un vrai bonheur...je recommande fortement
