Even in with very strong gusts, you know that this material is not going to rip or tear, and will hold together as well as any tent would in rough conditions.Once I got the kite up in the air, I was even able to hand the spool to my youngest, and he was able to enjoy it as well.I highly recommend getting this. The first one had a tear in it, and I received a replacement before I sent the old one back, so great customer service! My 4 year old has special needs and absolutely loved helping to fly it. The colors are vibrant, so it was easy for him to see the contrast in the sky. He's in speech therapy and has a hard time remembering and explaining experiences, but he's actually trying to tell people about it and is remembering the details of the kite. He's usually crazy and unpredictable, but he was calm and cooperative while staring at it in the big blue sky. Even my husband was able to have some REAL bonding time with him. It's easy to use, and I'm looking forward to many more chances to experience a favorite pastime that my son is actually into. I would not recommend this one for a 2 year old. I'd you have two little ones, get the younger a parachute toy or one if those balsa wood gliders to hold their attention while you work with the older one. ### ⭐⭐ Unstable. Up, loop, crash. It's up again, a quick left, then a right, then a 50 foot nose dive straight into the ground. Completely unstable. This is comedy. Where's the cameras?Update: Third day with this kite. Wind steady at 20 mph. Kite all over the place again, but at least staying aloft - barely. I pulled it down and attached tails to the wings, (now three tails total). Kite went straight up, much more stable with some bobs and weaves. Better.This kite is advertised as stable in low wind. No way. It needs higher wind to stay aloft.
