They don't make cartoons anymore that carter to this age set, i.e. with interesting plot lines and colorful characters, not watered down for preschoolers, but not overly mature (either too snarky or too violent). Both my three year old son and my eight year old daughter can watch it and enjoy it. And I still find it amusing - when the eighties theme song comes on, we all start singing! I remembered the words! Makes for a good minivan series, as they are limited lengths. (Movies in the car mean you are always in the middle of a movie).
