Plastifix made repairing all the cracks, broken tabs, and missing pieces of ABS plastic extremely easy. Almost every fairing i had on my bike had some type of damage. I repaired numerous cracks, missing pieces, fiilled in holes, and rebuilt tabs all with only one Plastifix kit. This stuff dried rather quick which limited working time, however, the cure time was fairly quick though. In addition, this stuff, when dried, is extremely hard (still flexible) which makes sanding a bit difficult so i used a dremel tool to shape it. How soon can it be sanded?** A: It starts to gel in about 30 minutes. It takes about an hour to cure at room temperature at which time you can start sanding. **Q: How clear is this product when dry? GSX650F. It was a clean straight crack. Read the directions and watch a few Youtube videos if you want to do it right. I used a piece of screen (similar to what's on a screen door) to reinforce the bond from the back side. It worked well.
