Why is this product over priced?

I can't say why it's priced so much higher than other brands, but I'll say you get what you pay for. I propagate mushrooms and have found that this manure is much "cleaner" than other brands I've used. Little odor and not nearly as much foreign material in it. I believe it is fully composted where as other brands are questionable on how well composted it really is. Which can lead to nutrient burn if not.

Do I need to mix with potting soil and directly grow the plants only in this?

This will help the quality of your soil, provided it has been amended with other additives to help with aeration and drainage.

Does this compost have any odor? Planning on using inside the house.

Very light odor...comparable to gardening soil...really have to get in close to smell it.

Great Product

Cows did a good job creating this fertilizer...the 20 pound bag was perfect for me, can't wrestle those 40 and 50 pound bags available at various garden centers
