ADAFRUIT INDUSTRIES 1578 Lithium Ion Polymer Battery - 3.7v 500mAh

I use this lipo battery with my Adafruit Feather HUZZAH with ESP8266 as a backup battery for a temp/humidity monitoring system for when the power is out. It works very well with other products too. The Feather Huzzah will keep the battery charged when power is available and automatically switch over. Adafruit products are well made by really smart and nice people and I never had a bad experience with any of their products. The online docs are very clear and complete.

I ordered this after doing research for a built in battery that would fit my old Bluetooth wireless over the ear headphones that would no longer hold a charge. It comes with a plug in connector that wasn't needed for my application, but that's nice if it's needed for other applications. It works great and my Bluetooth headphones are working and charging like new again! Do your research on size and battery power and if it fits, buy this product!

My wife needs a handicap pendant phone that is no longer made by Vtech. We bought several from old stock at various vendors but they had been on shelf uncharged so the lithium batteries were crap. Bought this and soldered it into the phone. Had to cut a bit of plastic out cause these wires were thicker. Seems like we now have a like new pendant phone. If time proves that, I'm gonna order another and make sure we have a backup.

I wanted to change the batteries of a bunch of motion detecting LED lights I bought whose lithium batteries were not lasting more than a week or so. These batteries were a bit larger and fit fine. Works in the hayward aqua pod. Just swap the plug end with the original and your good to go. Better than paying 700 bucks for a new one since they say it's a non replaceable battery.

I installed this in a handheld remote, which is rarely used and is left turned off for months at a time. I installed the battery about 6 weeks ago, and charged the battery. Since then it has lost about half its charge. It's possible that the remote itself draws some power from the battery, even in its "off" state. Hopefully, regular recharges will overcome the short shelf life problem for the battery.

The battery works as described. Shipping took much longer than expected without communication of an issue...that would have been much appreciated.

My TaoTronics TT-BH21 headphone battery failed right after the headphone warranty expired. Headphones still worked with charger cord connected but then became wired headphones.I wrote TaoTronics, asked how to get the headphones apart to access the battery-- no reply!! Took a chance and pried the ear piece apart to expose the battery, measured it's dimensions and found this one, a very close replacement.I stagger cut the wires off the original battery at the battery and likewise stagger cut the wires mid point on the new battery. Slid short pieces of heat shrink tubing over the wires, then soldered the connections. Finished with heat gun to shrink the tubing to cover the bare connections.Battery came nicely boxed and charged. No report on it's performance yet.
