I really love this. I am a book cover designer and sit at a desk with my pc and tablet for some considerably hours each day, and the reason I wanted this piece of kit, is so that I can sit on the sofa, or in bed, comfortably and still work. I had considered getting a Wacom Studio, which works independently of a pc, but it was more expensive and it doesn't do anything else. This however is a laptop and a tablet so i can draw, paint, download stock, basically everything my pc can do on the comfort of my sofa. I've had no glitches, yet. lmao...but I promise you, if i get so much as a twinge, I'll be back here cause this wasn't cheap. I expect it to last for some time. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Mild shocks, USB's not powerful enough, random screen dimming. *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 30 June 2021* I was waiting for months for the new version of the Surface Book and finally was able to splash the cash and got it around release day. It arrived and I was super impressed - Solid feel, decent screen, very responsive.All good, right? Wrong!Purchased to be my daily driver, using for a bit of Photoshop, maybe some video editing, music stuff.Found out quickly that there's some sort of issue with the USBs on this thing - Audio interfaces don't work - New interfaces, old interfaces - No good. And a 10 year old Mac could handle these no problem.I noticed after a while that the screen started to shutter off and on every now and again, and after modding some settings that was resolved but now it decides to dim itself, even when you change the settings to try prevent it.When charging, it also seems to give small, but irritating (what I can only describe as) electric shocks when resting my arms on the metal chassis.Battery is good in fairness. Screen is OK and I do like the pull-off feature. But this laptop is more of a gimmick than a functioning workhorse that I needed it to be.Do yourself a favour and buy a Macbook and iPad combo instead of this. Kinda looking forward to this SB3 turning itself into a £2500/3000 paperweight so I can return to Mac where life was pleasant. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Disapointing experience *by T***2 on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 20 November 2020* I was really looking forward to using this device and purchased the highest spec most expensive model. After unboxing I was disappointed to find cosmetic damage to the top left corner near the screen with what looked to be a manufacturing defect - the appearance of a deep scratch/chip but it was smooth when running a nail over it.Next issue was the random temperature too high alerts when rebooting. The laptop installed lots of windows updates when first being setup and this was immediately noticeable during that process but the alert cleared every time if pressing the power button and manually turning off and back on.
