OMG! This jacket ROCKS!!!
I don't usually leave product reviews, unless a product is unusually good or unusually bad. This jacket exceeded my expectations. It's comfortable, warm, well made and looks great. I looked for a throwback varsity jacket for some time and could never find one worth buying. Outside of scoring something truly vintage, this jacket hits all the marks. This thing has genuine leather sleeves and pocket accents; a quilted lining INCLUDING the inside of the sleeves; a (mostly) wool body; and quality details, like that little leather coat loop above the stitched leather label. I am 5'9 and 155# and the M size fits me great, hitting at the waist and at the shoulders just right, with plenty of room for a sweatshirt (crew neck or hoody) underneath. Without any under layer, the jacket is warm enough to wear in 40 degree weather. I have only minor criticisms; the body is an 80/20 wool/nylon blend (not 100% wool), but it still feels great. The cow leather sleeves are pebbled grain, which is OK, although I would have preferred smooth leather (not sure if that's the case with other color combinations). The sleeves are a bit on the baggy side, but that really gives it a "retro" look. This jacket really SCORES!!!

High Quality Jacket
Stewart & Strauss Letterman Jackets are expensive, and it's for a reason. This jacket was VERY nice. The leather was especially nice. These jackets are worth the price. In this case, it was small and didn't fit, so was returned. But it was super nice.

Measure yourself per S&S guidelines and you should be good
I wish to be brief as to the quality of my jacket, so simply said: It is well made and the craftsmanship shows it.I prefer to focus on the fit, which seems to be a common issue broached in the reviews, so here is my perspective: I am 5'9" and weigh 237. I normally use 2XL sizing in terms of T-shirt, sweaters, and business shirts; however, by following the measurement directions provided by Stewart & Strauss, it recommended I order size 3XL and I'm glad I went by the recommendation.I received my jacket the day after Christmas (gift to myself - haha!) and right out of the box the jacket fit very well. Albeit, the sleeves are slightly long, but it's not a deal breaker for me, i.e., to return the jacket for exchange or refund, as I was more interested in the overall fit as to my chest and shoulders. I am very satisfied with this jacket. In the end, measure yourself or have someone measure you as suggested by S&S, and do consider your height and weight, as it will be helpful and might save you frustration with incorrect fitting. Best to you all!

High quality Letterman's jackets that are true to color, and true to size.
These are Awesome Letterman's jackets. I initially had my wife order one of the less expensive jackets ($85), but the color wasn't even close to being maroon. It was more of a cardinal red. When I put my high school maroon and white varsity letter on it, it looked awful. The quality of the wool was also not very good. Very light and flimsy. It proved once again, you get what you pay for.So I bit the bullet and ordered one of these Stewart & Strauss Letterman's jackets and held my breath until it arrived, wondering if the maroon wool portion of the jacket would actually be maroon or another variant of red. When it arrived I was extatic. The color was perfect. It matched my maroon varsity letter exactly. The wool body of the jacket is made of excellent heavy quality wool, and the white leather sleeves are also excellent quality. One of the biggest pluses with this company is that they offer these jackets in tall sizes. I'm 6'5" tall and need at minimum a 36' sleeve length. My chest is 45" so I ordered the XLT size. It fits like it was taylor made for me. The jacket was around $220 with tax, but I couldn't be more pleased.I highly recommend this company if you're looking for a good quality Letterman's jacket that will last for years. Are they pricey? Yes, but they're worth every penny.

Good quality but was kinda small
This size was a small but it seems to be a lot smaller than a small. Also I like that the lining of the jacket unzip so that I can add my logos and designs to the jacket without you seeing the thread and stabilizer inside the jacket, but the issue I had with it is that the opening was at the top of the jacket which gave me a few challenging. One being it made it kinda hard to frame, the sleeves was too tight when and after I framed the sleeve and tried to put it on the embroidery machine. Also when I put the initials of my brand on the left side of the jacket, the zipper was in the way of doing so.

Warm
I love everything about the jacket! It’s stylish, well constructed and very warm! If I had a dislike, it would be the sleeves. They’re very stiff right now..🤣
