Very happy with this got this for my grandson for Christmas nice size

Purchased for my wife and she's loving it. Really easy to use and assemble. Speed adjustable, reverse feature which is rare even in more expensive models. Has an electrical shutdown safeguard. No leaks, and REALLY silent which is awesome for using at home.Would buy again if we needed another one.

The good. For the price very good wheel... For The Price mind you.The bad. The fwd/rvs switch was busted when it arived. I fixed it myself.If you are like me and just like to throw now and then. And if you don't need a big wheel. Than money well spent. If I sell enough of my art some day I will by a seriuse wheel. Until than, this scratches the itch.

We purchased this for our daughter for Christmas, the belt was off when we started it, quick fix for the hubby, daughter has made many sculptures so far, she's 10 and we are still getting the hang of it, but so far we love it!

I bought this wheel in early 2020 and use it weekly! No real issues; I learned on a Brent model CXC and it’s obviously nowhere near the quality of a $2,000 wheel. But this wheel is better quality than the $150 price tag. I made my money back in no time.Highly recommend, even for professional potters who are desperate for a wheel.The wheel head is too small for a bat system, but I’ve always thrown to the wheel head anyways. If bats are a necessity for ya, this is not the wheel for you!

Arrived with the belt off of the motor. Was difficult to get it back on and in doing so I saw that the gears in the mechanisms are made out of plastic instead of metal like the wheel and upper parts. Probably wouldn't last for very long, as the plastic would probably get worn down or warp. There was also no like notch or anything to keep the belt in place once it was back on. Once the belt was put back on it worked and seemed like it had decent power. Doesn't seem like it would slow down if pressure was applied. Sadly, the wheel was off center/had a knock so it made it impossible to actually throw any pottery on it. The foot pedal is not detachable, and it doesn't have any spring system so if you lift your foot up it doesn't cut power to stop the wheel spinning. You have to manually press the pedal back down with your foot. This was very counter intuitive and I found myself lifting up my foot several times to get it to stop and then having to mildly panic as I collected myself and pushed the pedal back down to halt the spinning. This can be really bad in a situation where you need the wheel the stop right at the exact moment otherwise it'll ruin your piece. Also it does not seem like the wheel comes off at all. I will be returning this wheel.All in all, if not for the whole off center thing and not being able to throw because of it as well as the other issues, I would say this was definitely worth the price.
