WORX 20V 12'' Cordless String Trimmer & 360 CFM Leaf Blower Combo, 2 Batteries & Charger Included, WG928

For me, these 2 cordless tools are perfect. The trimmer and blower are both lightweight, easy to use, and the combo was at an affordable "on sale" price. I primarily use them for small to medium-size jobs around our farmhouse and to help maintain 6 graves at the cemetery. I wouldn't consider these a heavy duty workhorse or as tough as a gas-powered trimmer and corded blower. If you have a large project with tall, thick weeds and grass to trim, this isn't going to give you enough power. Cordless is convenient but battery life isn't very long. (The batteries also take a long time to re-charge -- the charger comes with.) The trimmer/blower combo came with two batteries -- one for the trimmer and one for the blower so a couple of times at the cemetery, I've swapped out the compatible blower battery so I could keep going with the trimmer. Again, for what I need, cordless works great and Worx seems to have created a quality version of a trimmer and blower. I'd like to think they'll last for several years. We'll see!

Received my package today and was missing a leaf blower tube. Everything was neatly packaged. I briefly tried out the trimmer on wet grass and I must say I wasn’t disappointed. I reached out to WORX customer service. Now I’m just waiting on a response on how the matter will be resolved. Even with the leaf blower missing a tube it works pretty well. ***UPDATE*** Customer service was nice and efficient with sending out the blower tube. Blower battery goes fast but with a more powerful battery this package deal should work for me.

Let me start by saying, I am by no means a professional landscaper or even a very knowledgeable person about lawn care in general. I did use this combo to do 2 rental properties on a little over 1/2 acre lot, and it worked great. I purchased this combo and I have only used it once so far but felt like writing a review because I saw some negative reviews on here that I don't believe this product deserves. EDIT 04/18/2024 Just used the equipment yesterday for the second time and already the trimmer quick feed is sticking. It wouldn't be such a big deal if it wasn't only the second time using it.. The other issue is flipping over to get more line gets old very quickly because the line is so weak.. Using the edger I have to flip and get more line every 5ft... The pros: I really do like this blower/trimmer combo, and it did a great job for 2 rental properties. Based on some reviews stating that the battery life couldn't get them through a single yard is strange to me because I trimmed, edged, and blew 2 driveways, 4 walkways, and almost an entire roughly 80ft sidewalk on both sides with less than 2 batteries. (I really think people complaining about battery life are not fully charging the batteries before the first use) The blower has 2 settings, and I found the lower setting to be good enough for the job. I'm sure the high setting would probably drain the battery, but I did not use it so I cannot speak for it. The trimmer is awesome in my opinion (other than weak string). Again, it's super lightweight, has the quick feed option on the handle, and the edger attachment is great. I don't plan on being real rough on these items, but I will say I worry about how long the edger attachment might last as it seems a little cheap. The cons: My biggest issue is that the string on the spools (including the extras I purchased) are only available in .065 thickness, so they break very easily. That being said, the quick feed option on the handle helps a lot; it just isn't great to go through line so quickly. My second, and really only other con, is that the batteries take FOREVER to charge. Again, this isn't a huge issue being that I purchased 2 extra batteries and had 4 total, so it was more than enough to get the job done. Summary: All together, I would highly recommend this combo especially at the price point. I've only used it once, and my review will change if my view of the product changes, but as of now, I have been impressed with it. For a little more reference, I attached a picture of the 2 properties I took care of. All of this was done with less than 2 batteries.

Deeeeecent. Bought this weed eater and blower combo for prime day, finally got around to using them today. Been putting off cutting down some weeds and cleaning the back yard for over a year. Both worked better than expected. I have a small yard so I couldn't say how these would work for continued use on a larger yard, but for my needs these are well worth the money.

Who knew these things could have so much improvment in just a few years. I'd almost like to take one star off for the fact that the battery and charger are DIFFERENT than the previous model I have. Also a big reason I wanted to stick with the same brand. Why do all these companies have to make things complicated? We all have a hundred different chargers floating around, I'm good with simplifying life. Tired of "bells and whistles." The blower is quieter than my last one and less bulky... maybe lighter? The battery didn't impress me with the first use, but I will update if it has a shorter use than the last chargers. Overall, super happy with this purchase and both the trimmer and blower work GREAT. Homedipo and Loves had the same thing for 40+ dollars more.

3 stars because the blower is trash. Yes this is a great deal for the price, but that blower doesn't last too long on batteries. I ended up returning this bundle and buying the Worx trimmer alone. The fast trimmer works great, and if you move along quickly, without letting your yard over grow, you can trim up in one battery cycle. Easy and comfortable to move around with. Sure its gas-free, but honestly, when that battery dies, your not going back out side till next time after the battery is fully charged. The trimmer design is nice that you can switch trimmer to weed eater. The only assembly is the cover at the bottom if you wish to use it. On the other hand, the blower had 2-3 speed setting. I always needed to use the highest settings. I also have a pretty big driveway/sidewalk, which is where I needed the blower for, but those batteries are no good for the blower.

Great trimmer, it is a light to medium duty trimmer, it is light weight, I think it is just over 5lbs, the handle is adjustable,, easy to use, if you are a senior, have a smaller yard, this is a great easy to use product, give the batteries plenty of time to charge, I charged mine the day before using, it will take awhile, I let one charge all day, the other I left on the charger over night, when you charge the battery, make sure they click into the charger, I got about 20-25 minutes of use with each battery, the red twine is good quality, generic twine/spools are good too, the leaf blower is also great, easy to assemble, easy lightweight to use, 1 is slower speed, 2 is high speed, it literally took me less than 45 seconds to do my walkways, driveway, and the street, the battery powered equipment works for me, they are hassle free!!!!

I replaced a Black and Decker battery trimmer with this Worx. I have a 1 acer yard that I maintain: PROS: The unit is lightweight and the ability to change from weed eating to edging is nice and easy by using the rotation bar. I can not run a heavy gas weeder because of 4 back surgeries and a lower lumbar fusion so weight is a HUGH factor for me. The button auto feed is nice and located great for quick use. The purchase price for this package is great. CONS: The auto fee of the line is poor. Actually either mine isn't working correct or I'm missing when it's suppose to auto feed. I am constantly using the button feed. Line for the tool is super thin and the spool is small so go ahead and order additional line. If you are trimming along a fence line or long driveway/walkway you will use a lot of line.. This tool by no means matches the strength and spool size of my Black and Decker. The motor strength is ok but again no match and it struggles a tad in thick grasses. The flower bar guard is nice but mine would not stay in and I actually need to go walk my yard now to find it. It snapped in fine in the beginning and I loved it...but after just would not stay on (could be user error). The battery life is not good. With the motor seeming to work harder, I'm assuming this drains the battery quicker. I haven't been able to use the blower yet because by the time I can get around my acer...both batteries are drained. With the above I have noticed it takes me a little longer to complete my work. My Black and Decker definitely shorten my time by about 20-30 min. Overall this would be a great little trimmer for a small yard i.e, patio home/garden home type yard but if larger then go ahead and order a bulk package of line and additional batteries with the dual charge station. I will probably purchase another B&D down the road and keep this one as back up in the easier areas of my yard.

Not new to Worx garden tools, the set is great and works as expected. Blower could be more compact and less noisy but is OK for this price. A better blower from Worx costs as this set.

Light weight blower and trimmer. I like 👍. Blower sir flow is good anf trimmer works good.

Battery capacity is low, but it does the job for a small garden.

Well after charging the battery i decided to go out and play while the 2nd battery was charging and was impressed with not alone the weight of each piece but how quiet they were and i was able to do not only my front and back yard trimming and edgeing with the grass trimmer but use the same battery on the blower which i found to be lightweight and powerful enough and very quiet compared to other's and only used 2 outta the 5 bars on the battery
