Expensive, but the only way to easily splice. Maybe the stainless is what makes it cost so much.

It is the go for splicing. The only problem was that there were burrs on the wire, likely from the extrusion process. Rather than returning, I just polished them off. No snagging, now

Ordered this based on description that it would work on 1/4 inch line. The line I use is braided kevlar and is stiffer than typical nylon braid. The needle worked fine, but the F15 size would have been better

Great product. This has made splicing much more efficient.

Nice gadget for splicing double braid and other tasks. However, a piece of 1/16" music wire is a lot more versatile. This is somewhat overpriced for what it is and what can replace it, so I took off two stars. Main beef is sometimes it just isn't long enough. I have about 100 feet of piano wire so I can make my own of any length needed. Anyone who can figure out how to splice double braid should be able to figure out how to use a piece of wire instead of a gadget to do so. Maybe three start is too much? Nah. It is well made, for all of being too short. Half a thumb up.

Disappointed. I was using to splice 1/4 Dyneema for soft shackles and friction rings. Unfortunately it broke at the tip after fifth time using.

This was and excellent purchase and made making eye splices in double braid easier and quiker.Ken
