No iOS support - Good on Android - Well featured
I got the scanner for my Ford Ranger to read some different fault codes and also do some coding via software. I was a little frustrated to see that they do not support iOS however I do have an android tablet and I set it up in conjunction with that. I tried a couple of different software solutions that all worked with ease.Its a good value code reader and basic OBD utility device and was stable and effective.

Odb2 Bluetooth reader
This small gadget comes in a soft grey zipped case to keep it safe when in your glove box. It connects to your phone using Bluetooth. I use Torque software with it that I purchased separately for £5. Theres plenty of free software out there that allows you to read codes. I like that this device tells my phone all sorts of information, whether it's engine temperature, turbo pressure, etc, and can also read and reset fault codes. I've used this on my BMW Mini Cooper and a friend's Renault Modus DCi and it works well on both. Plug into the port, switch on bluetooth on your phone and launch whatever software you have. It lights up as soon as its plugged in so you know its working even before your phone is connected.

Works Really Well
This is a great item and works much better than the one it is replacing, you can leave this one in without it draining the cars battery and it picks up on Android devices easily.I have an android head unit which has a special interface for the OBD2 units so I can keep an eye on many different conditions whilst driving. If you use it for diagnostics then any Android phone or pad will work and this will give you all the information that you require with some reset options.Excellent item, recommended.

Good concept but does not work with android 10.
Does not work with android 10.Device did not show in bluetooth to pair so could not connect.It says to use torque app but that tells me it is not compatible with android 10.It's a shame really, concept is excellent.Using Samsung a50
