BC42 Simple Function Task Chair N20 Black Fabric

Great chair- she is very happy with it- the space is limited and its just right.

I bought one of these chairs in about 1992-93. I have continued to use it almost daily since then. 20+ years and the fabric is in almost perfect condition (despite raising 2 kids who spilled things on it - always cleaned up perfectly). There's a tiny bit of pilling on the fabric. The cushioning still is extremely comfortable; not broken down at all. (I weighed about 155 back then, and sadly now am about 175 - I'm not huge, but not tiny either.) The hydraulics don't work quite perfectly anymore, and I sometimes have to pull the seat to get it started from the fully depressed position - otherwise works fine. I am considering contacting the company and seeing if their current arms will fit the chair, and maybe get new hydraulics. But maybe that can wait another 10 years? More than fully satisfied. Of course, I can't speak to their current quality but I am going to buy a new one for my office - I'm sick of the office store chairs that last a few years then fall apart.

We have these chairs at our school and the school has been ordering additional ones every few years. Aside from the students trying to take them apart and losing the knobs on them, these are very nice, comfortable chairs. Even though some of the pieces have been lost, I've been able to order replacement parts fairly easily and they work like new again. The only downside is that it takes awhile for the company to send you the parts.
