CURT17057 Round Bar Weight Distribution Hitch with Integrated Lubrication, Up to 14K, 2-Inch Shank, Black

The item only suffered minor cosmetic damage due to poor packing/shipping. I don't know if UPS is the problem, or if the seller didn't package it well. The box arrived nearly in half, and had about a half roll of packing tape on it. Granted, it isn't lightweight, which is why I think the shipper should have a better packing system. The hitch itself is fine. It's heavy steel, so other than paint being scraped off the receiver portion, it's fine. All parts were included to properly install the hitch, and the construction is on par/standard for the type of hitch. I already owned a 12k pound weight distribution hitch; this is the 14k version. Curt has manufactured a great product. and I would ultimately recommend this hitch. The price is actually better than many of the lighter weight hitches available.

This product does not include any apparatus to release the tension bars. I have to use a pocket knife to release these bars. I believe that I should have received a product that had an easier and safer way to release these bars!!!!

Pull a 24' trailer with Atv's and SxS on it.Its putting the truck to max trailer tow capacity so added these for ride height on rear truck and stability,well worth the money and at $200.00 was allot cheaper then local Farm Store.

Easy to set up if the directions are followed,And it works well.

This hitch woould have worked better for a lighter trailer but, my travel trailer is a 34'8" toy hauler. The trailer has a maximum of 2000 lb. capacity and when loading my 1800lb. Side by Side the hitch cannot control the sway. I've had to go to a better hitch.

What's to say? It worked perfectly. Package was a little torn up, but for an item this heavy I'm not surprised.

Easy to set up works great, not for sway control. You need a separate sway control bar. The hitch weighs like 85lbs. Has reducer sleeve so you don’t need to buy the bigger shank ball.

While possible a shipper issue and not a seller issue the box was opened and fairly beat up upon arrival. All the parts were there along with a few dings in the paint on the hitch. I suppose it’s just going to rust anyways. Now a manufacture seller issue the handle is crap. No rubber on the hand end just sharp steel. Even my old rv pro equalizer came with a better handle. Needless to say I am not impressed with that part.
