Using the stock large tips, these earbuds sound pretty thin with no bass. This is mostly because the shells stick out of my ears preventing a good seal. However, using the smallest included tips, the shells fit fairly flush in my ears. This creates a much better seal, and great bass is the result. Unfortunately stock Sony tips don't fit on these because the nozzle is too thicc.I would guess these use 8 mm drivers (definitely not 0.03 mm, like it says on the product page). The shells are pretty small and comfortable. Overall the sound is clear and punchy. The cable is a thicc braided 2-pin that is soft, very nice, and the main reason I bought these Soloist's.
