Excellent holster for Ruger LCP with laser
I've found these holsters to be perfect for my EDC Ruger LCP. I bought two a few years ago and finally decided to make sure I won't ever be without one and ordered two more. I expect they'll outlast me. I highly recommend these Bulldog holsters. The paper envelope that the holster came in was ripped clear across and I was lucky that the holster was still in the envelope. It looks like someone wanted to see what was in the envelope with a return address of Hunting Stuff.

Understand what you're getting and it'll be a no-brainer.
I've been using it daily for almost a year. I really dislike(personal preference) "inside the waistband", "ankle", or "pocket" holsters so this concept works very well. I would, probably, not "carry" very often if I had to use any of those types mentioned which is why I purchased this style. Of course, with the unique, upside down "draw" associated with this item, one needs to practice, practice, practice with an unloaded firearm to insure proficiency should, God forbid, you ever need to use it. If you're the type that carries a different weapon everyday in a different holster configuration you may revert back to the straight up draw that you're used to when the pressure is on. This type of "draw" could be confusing to you when seconds matter the most. Anyhow....Construction, for the price, is good/very good. I'm very easy on it and, in truth, I don't get out everyday and when I do it's not for long so its usage, for me, is limited. After a year the seams are holding up and there are no scratches/tears. The metal belt hook seems sturdy and of good quality and is attached securely. Slipping it over your belt is easy and it's not coming off until you go to take it off. In fact, the way the hook is designed, it can be a pain to get it off your belt. LOL But, that can be a good thing. There is a little "slop" to it on your belt but nothing that isn't manageable. The magnetic snaps hold it closed just fine for my usage(I'm not running or rolling around) and they do not impede quick removal of the contents. Once the Pleather softens/loosens up and conforms to the contour of the contents it's even better. If you're very active you might have an issue with it opening up on you. The flap is the only thing holding the contents in. Just something to keep in mind.Size? People complain that it's bulky. Well, come on, take the L x W x H of what you carry and imagine a soft box attached to your belt! I guess people see "cell phone" in the description and they think they're going to squeeze a 6x5x1 item into the same space as their cell phone. Oh, well....Concealment? Well, if you wear your shirt tucked in it's going to stand out like a sore thumb. But, I'd think/hope that the casual observer would just think you're a techno geek with some kind of laptop computer in a case attached to your belt. If you only wear an UNtucked T-shirt over it the bulge will still be very noticeable. At least when your shirt is tucked in people can see the case yet they still have no idea what's in it. The bulge under the T-shirt? It might start people wondering. Just my opinion. Me? I'm able to wear an untucked T-shirt over it with an untucked, and unbuttoned, button-down shirt over the T-shirt. It's unnoticeable and I've never been asked, even by people I know, "What's that under your shirt?"For the 14 bucks? Absolutely. The only issues I can see people having is concealment and the upside down draw aspect. Loose(r) fitting, untucked shirts and practice, practice, practice(unloaded) make them non-issues for me.

Great product - just realize what you're getting
I debated between this and the sneaky pete for awhile..... BUT..This product is exactly as advertised. I'm using it for my Ruger LCP (no finger extension or laser). It does exactly what it's supposed to do - gives you a place to put your gun, exposed(ish).Few notes:1. If you expect to wear your gun on your belt exposed, realize that the container must be at a minimum, slightly larger than the weapon itself. The LCP is bigger than a smartphone. So if your expectation for this is to look exactly like a phone on your side, make sure firearm is smaller than your gun and look for another type of holster.2. Is this bigger than any phone case out there? - yes... however, it's also a size where people wouldn't go "hey look at that on his side - it's gotta be a firearm!" Basically, it draws attention away from the gun in plain view - the entire intention for buying something like this.3. Some people complained about the draw on this. I get it, it's not your typical type of draw. The gun faces with the slide down and barrel facing backwards. On the Bulldog main website there is a 3 picture diagram how to properly draw from this "holster". The method is different but is quite effective. Just like anything new, you may need a little bit of practice to pull it out quickly.4. For the LCP, it's tight... although I like it tight against the gun b/c then I'm not wasting any outward space... the sneaky pete is slightly (very slight) larger from the body.5. The construction against this looks quite solid... I just received this today but it doesn't appear that there will be any issues.. it's a belt loop/clip which gives you a nice failsafe if something were to fail. I prefer the look to this over the sneaky pete as that darn logo on the sneaky pete is kind of tacky in my opinion. I'm glad they're proud of their product but the idea is to blend, not product endorse.6. I wish I could give this 4.5 stars.. The only reason I would deduct 1/2 is b/c none of the pictures give you anything to reference to.... It is slightly bigger than I expected but considering I would feel comfortable wearing this on my persons during the summertime (without losing a pocket) - it does the job that I needed.7. Price - you couldn't go wrong. At the moment considering that the Sneaky Pete is a two week delay and 3 times the price, it was a no brainer trying this out. Even if I didn't like it, it's still a useful carry to keep your belt for other things.Overall, great product and I'm going to be using this as my carry and am happy with my purchase.

Why holes in the bottom?
The holes in the bottom are unnecessary and kind of bizarre. But, unlike the Uncle Mike’s version, this Bulldog actually covers up the whole Ruger LCP. Would definitely recommend this over the bulldog. But they need to get rid of the holes.

I have two!
I have two of these, one for work, other for everyday use. I paint for a living, can not help but get paint on the old case. I spray case w/fabric black paint every couple of months to return to new black finish. The original one is about 3 years old, carry a 380 all the time.
