I absolutely LOVE this tool every time I use it.If you work on any car you know you are one broken bolt away from a 1 hour job turning into a 3 day job. If you have old and rusted nuts/bolts on a car and need to remove this tool makes it extremely easy and reduces the chances for breaking a bolt/nut. I can get a nut glowing red in 1-2 min, depending on the size and the nut breaks off easily.The tool had over temp protection and cuts off after 2 minutes of continuous use. It also has over current protection, if the coil shorts to the car chassis it will also cut off.You may think this is expensive. This is manufactured in the USA and used high quality parts. Some of the knock off brands from China not have the over temp/over current protection like this model.The coils are considered consumables and wear out after while.

Gets very hot very very fast. It would be nice if it came with more leads but it works very well. Not as compact as i had envisioned but not nearly as big as others I've seen.

I bought the cheap knock-off version and it came broken. Amazon replaced it and the replacement came broken (both had parts rattling inside).I spent the extra money on this and it came working and it works pretty good.If it dies in the near future, I'll come back and report it but, right now, this gets 5 stars from me.

Great product... Easy to overheat!!! Use short cycles..

As the title says open box, was supposed to be good condition with just the coils missing, at a discounted price, it did not work at all would not turn on, had to return it and buy one at full price, the new one works great and is an awsome tool. JB tools needs to check their returns before reselling to customers.

Bought to remove factory exhaust manifolds from a 87 firebird 350 in the rust belt. Got all the secondary air line fittings nice and hot but even then without matcos adjustable crows feet they would have never came off. Used it many times since with good success rates. Good performance and value. Just wish the coils were cheaper.
