Until this purchase, we had not found a collar that the cat couldn't wriggle out of.This collar works well. It's grown with our kitty, and we think it must be more comfortable because she isn't constantly trying to get out of it. We've had it two months, and it really hasn't shown any signs of wear, even though the cat wears it all the time. We LOVE the bell that lets us know where she is, although our kitty has figured out how to walk at least some of the time without making it jingle.The bow is cute, and we haven't had any trouble with it coming off. At first, it was really too big for her, so we just didn't put it on her, but now that she's grown, she can wear it with no problem.The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that it seems just a bit overpriced to me. If I had been given the option, I would have preferred a less-expensive collar without the bow.Still, I do believe this is a case of "you get what you pay for." I don't get giddy about a lot of things, but this is just the cutest. For reference, my cat is an adult (10 yrs old), 9lb domestic short hair--- the collar on the smallest size fit her. So unless your cat is overweight or a very large breed, this will fit just fine (always ensure you can fit 2 fingers between the collar and cat's neck.) And the only thing I worried about was the bowtie bothering her--- not at all! Thought I'd need to remove it, but she couldn't care less. Must be comfy. Would buy all over again! Great product =) ### ⭐ Not safe, not durable :( *by B***E on Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2020* The one star is because the color is cute and it looked nice on her, though we took off the bell because she doesn’t need anxiety and the bow tie was in her way.Our cat had been wearing this collar for less than a week and the stitching is already coming apart.The plastic cat ears on the collar are not just pointy but sharp. I wouldn’t want this thing around my neck.The breakaway mechanism requires a lot of force to actually open even for a human. Even when tightened for 2 fingers or less to fit underneath, our cat managed to get it stuck in her mouth on her bottom jaw and the breakaway mechanism couldn’t possibly release without my assistance. I’d be terrified to put it back on her. I can’t even imagine what would happen if it got caught like that and we weren’t around.
