Fulton Cequent Bulldog Topwind A-Frame Trailer Jack

Good trailer jack replacement but it unwinds while trailering. Somewhere between Pennsylvania and New York the trailer jack unwound and lowered my caster wheel to the point half of the wheel was ground down by the pavement. Bought a $5 roll bar light mount and modified if to accept a carabiner. The roll bar light mount is mounted to the top of the jack and the carabiner captures the handle to prevent u winding.

Easy to install, very easy to crank up and down. The Bulldog brand is well known and I can see why. I used this to replace a no-name brand trailer jack that made so much noise when cranking up and down, add to that the Bulldog jack has a stop when cranking down. Believe it or not the last jack that was on my trailer would allow me to crank it down, and then when I pulled away with my truck WHAM! the damn trailer would fall to the ground as the jack simply folded over and bent! Enough of my rambling - this is a decent quality jack, I fear the noise coming back with age and that the red knob which is pictured at the top of the jack becomes brittle or breaks over-time exposed to the sun/weather.
