American Short Story Masterpieces (Dover Thrift Editions: Short Stories)

Good collection in easy to hold book.

I found that some of the stories were e-x-t-r-e-m-e-l-y tedious. I have difficulty figuring out why some of them were called "masterpieces." However, the ones I did like, I enjoyed very much.

This is a collection of well known writers and some of their short stories. Some are classically well known, some are a bit more obscure. Easy read.
