perfect size
this thing is outstanding! its absolutely what i needed to play music in my RZR, its super easy to connect to your phone, the large buttons make it easy to operate with gloves on, i have it hooked to a Rockford Fostgate 300W 4 channel amp and its pushing two Rockville 300 watt tower speakers and it all sounds amazing coming from my Galaxy Note 8. super loud and clear and i can hear the music clearly while trail riding at 40 mph plus when the group stops to take a break i supply the music and everyone loves it.you will get some static feed back through your speakers when you aren't playing music and that's because the supplied wires are really thin, if it bothers you try and wrap the wires with something to eliminate that.

My speakers sound way better than what I was using
I had speakers hooked to an amp and was using a cheap little bluetooth receiver meant for headphones. I never liked the way my speakers sounded and thought I needed new speakers. I decided to try this MTX receiver so that I could have it flush mount to my dash on my RZR. My speakers never sounded so good. I do not get the speaker buzz that I have read on other reviews. I ran my ground wire to the frame away from the power wires for the amp. I am so glad I upgraded to this head unit.

Perfect except just one flaw, and it's a deal breaker
Unfortunately I never actually used it, but I thought I should share some info for potential buyers.• 100% the best looking controller. I'd been shopping around for a device like this and this unit definitely is the cleanest/simplest.•buttons have a full feeling click and are all backlit white (center button red with no Bluetooth connection)•multiple mounting optionsNow the bad.. honestly it's just one bad part about this piece, but it was a deal breaker for me. Although it is a hardwired connection, you have to manually turn it on every single time you use it. Even if you have it's power wire on a relay, it makes no difference. It has no means of an applied power turn on. I have a 90's sports car I am doing a restomod on, and have a tablet as a "head unit". I wanted this piece to serve a means for input to my amplifier while also having controls. However, having to manually turn it on every time just wasn't going to work. If this doesn't bother you then it's perfect. Sadly for me I'll be having to return this.

Perfect addition to my new dashboard
Great addition to my new dashboard on my boat. Sits flat and does not take up much room at all. Happy to get rid of bulky head unit on my very small dashboard.

Worst BT audio device ever - beware
If I could rate this any lower it would get a negative star. Easy to hook-up, install, etc. but the sound quality is atrocious. You would be better of memorizing your favorite songs and singing them in your head. The Bluetooth connection is the crux of this products colossal failure. If you enjoy hearing a hi pitch wine through the speakers and clicking this is your product. Now before the skeptics chime in, Unit is hooked up directly to the battery, not piggy backed on anything. I tried two different BT audio sources and when you disconnect the 3.5mm plug the noise goes away - check - this BT module is the fault. Don't waste your time on this thing - and if you do happen to take a change on it; suggest you temporarily wire everything before hand to test out so your not disappointed after you've already run wires and made connections.

Works great on motorcycle.
Mounted this to my Vulcan after trying wireless iPod remotes that would stop working over time. It's bulkierthan said remotes and took some modification to mount it within thumbs reach of my left handle but once installed it works very reliably with my older iPod touch and has good sound quality (as good as you would expect on a motorcycle anyway) and is relatively easy to use with gloves on. Aside from it's bulk my only complaint really is that it takes about half a sec for the music to respond to your button commands and you have to turn it off/on manually (In my configuration at least). Overall though it appears to be the most reliable solution to controlling my music without having to fiddle with my Phone or iPod.
