My New Favorite Cookbook!
I was so excited to get this new Top Secret Recipes cookbook that I preordered mine in October and I was't disappointed when I received it! The book itself is beautifully done with all of the colorful pictures, step by step instructions, and the tips and tidbits. It's been fun to look through and think about which recipes to try next! And speaking of recipes, the few that I have tried so far have been delicious and even better than what I've had in the restaurant they are from!! If you haven't bought your copy of Todd Wilbur's new cookbook you should now! You will be so happy you did!

Much better then previous books
Now this is a cookbook. The addition of color photos instead of hand drawn sketches makes this book much more professional and a great cookbook to browse. My only complaint with the book and the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is his frequent use of MSG in some of the recipes. Will try them without it but do wonder if the recipes are so goodwhy do they need this flavor enhancer which most people I know don't even use anymore.

Easy to follow
Very easy to follow recipes. Simply written.

Choose the paperback version, not the e-book this time
This is the latest, long-awaited new book of clone recipes from Todd Wilbur. This book contains mostly new restaurant recipes that he has cloned, and some recipes that he has revisited, and reworked to make them closer to the originals. I think, what has happened is that he's become a more skilled cook than he was when he started cloning recipes. He used to rely more on mixes and ready-made ingredients that he doctored-up. Now, he's baking from scratch, and has perfected a lot of cooking skills. I have not had time to try any of these new recipes, but have bookmarked around 20 that I want to try. Even when the recipes weren't something I'd like to try, I enjoyed reading his intros and seeing how he came up with the clone. I doubt that too many people will want to buy dry ice to make the pea sized ice cream balls, but it was interesting to read about how he does this. (I'd never heard of this product.) This time around he has included photos of the prep process and the finished product. I first bought this book on Kindle for myself, and then bought the paperback version as a Christmas gift. The pictures come across much, much better in the paperback version. Unless you have vision issues that require reading enlarged font on a Kindle app, I would definitely recommend getting the actual book, rather than the e-book.

Amazing recipes that taste delicious and just like restaurant versions!
I have been a huge Todd Wilbur Top Secret Recipe fan for years! With a child with severe peanut/tree nut allergies, eating out at restaurants can be challenging, so having these recipes has been a true gift to treat my family to restaurant foods when we could control the ingredients. Extensive use of MSG
I haven't tried any of the recipes yet but, for those who are allergic to MSG - I believe there are many - be aware that 17 of the recipes use this ingredient. Disappointing, as I can't try any of those and wanted to offer a heads up to others who are allergic.

Great recipes
Wow. This is a recipe book treasury! Lots of fun making these recipes and the few I have tried are very close to the real deal. The KFC chicken one is GREAT!!

Good quality book with some great pictures
Good quality book with some great pictures. A few recipes that maybe not too easy to make but vast majority should be possible.I've tried several and results been very good. A good buy.

Na ja! Nicht schlecht aber....
eigentlich habe ich das "Buch" gekauft um zu sehen wie Hooters seine Wings macht. So wars auch in der Werbung angegeben nur war davon nichts im Buch zu sehen. Wer die amerikanische Kueche bzw die Food chains im Buch kennt findet mit Sicherheit das ein oder andere Rezept. Die meisten davon koennen sie aber auch so im Internet finden wenn man etwas tiefer graebt. Das andere Problem ist das es viele der Zutaten in Deutschland gar nicht gibt, wie z.B spezielle Craker flakes die im Cheesecake Rezept verwendet werden. Ansonsten ist es schon spassig durchzustoebern aber davuer wiederum finde ichs zu teuer!
