When looking for tools for DIY or any job around the house, car, garden and general use get this unit, it has all the positive sides with no negative at all, battery life compared to the competition out in front, charging time too very quick, I bought an extra battery which helps, one working, one charging. The kit comes in a good case with plenty of tools, a charger and one battery, however the case caters for two batteries. The chuck amazing, keyless and holds up to 10mm drill bit, the hammer action is useful, however here when drilling hard stone or ceramic tiles I prefer to use a diamond drill or a multi purpose drill bit like a bosch and use water to cool if necessary and no hammer action, a good bit set will last a long time and the extra cost is worth it. The tools do include drill bits for stone however for very hard stone they are not up to the mark nevertheless the other tools there is a very good selection of bits to suit all jobs and they are of excellent quality are magnetic therefore loss is kept to a minimum. Overall this product is well ahead of the competition and can be used on a daily basis with ease.

Has all bits and parts needed for home DIY for an unprofessional. Battery lasts a while before having to recharge. Very sturdy and the case is solid. Value for money considering what is included.

I have many Makita 18v products and find them extremely well made, very good to use and handle, and you can always buy spares for them (I also have a 240v HR2475 which has seen some very hard use but with maintenance and cleaning, never ceases to amaze me with what it can do…)Anyway, I bought this kit for my son’s 20th birthday and he loves it. He has fitted curtain poles, shelves, tv stands etc and it has been great as a first basic power tool set. Recommend 👍

About a year ago I bought a Makita Leaf Blower and am very impressed by its design, materials, build standard and operation. So when I decided to buy an 18V Combi Drill, I chose one from Makita and once again am impressed by its design, materials, build standard and operation. The case and the extensive set of accessories are excellent. I don't think that it will be too long before I buy another device from Makita's large 18V family.

Comprehensive accessories

I have one regret about buying this product, that I didn’t get it years ago! Having all the extra accessories is a handy bonus. The drill and settings are easy to use and to set. The drill is very powerful and all I need for my DIY jobs around the house. I would highly recommend this Makita drill, as it is good value for money.

A without a doubt a great drill, can’t complain about the purchase or seller, HOWEVER, delivery by dpd - dreadful. Here’s why… received many emails stating delivery on Wednesday 1st June, organised my week in order to be at home to receive it. Typical, dpd tries to deliver the drill on Tuesday 31st May. Of course, No one in. Result failed delivery.😳Recommendation: Deliver only on the date stated in the many emails sent to the purchaser AND don’t use dpd!!!Disappointed customer and Amazon Prime subscriber. Get your act in order!!!

I just love this drill, it is so much better than any other drill that I have owned. it's easy to use and the battery life is amazing, it just keeps going!The set of drills etc are very useful too although getting the drill bits back in the case can be hard work.Very happy with it.
