This set of food is adorable. My son specifically asked for eggs and ice cream for his pretend kitchen and store and this set has both. It comes with SO many different things, some of which we already had, but also a lot of things we didn't such as bacon, snap peas, cauliflower, asparagus, celery, white and wheat bread, eggs in the shell and also fried eggs. Out of all the pieces, only two are cardboard...a carton of milk and a carton of lemon tea. The rest are soft and durable plastic. My son is happy and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good variety for a decent price.

Kids in preschool loved them

The pieces are good quality hard plastic. Has a great variety of foods for kids to use their imagination. The boxes and cartons come flat so you’ll need to put together but they are easy and quick. Didn’t notice any poor marking or bad info on anything. Doesn’t matter anyway since they are just toys. Price is on par for quantity and quality. Very happy with purchase.

Items look realistic

I am happy with the quality of these food items. They are made of durable plastic materials. Majority of these items look like what they're supposed to be. There are a few soft cardboard type items you're suppose to put together. Not a problem at all, but can possibly get damaged quickly if near water or animals that chew. I would prefer all products made of plastic and none with paper. I would purchase this again given the realistic nature and quality. My son has been playing with these toys in his kitchen and has been so happy "cooking" for his Mom and Dad.

Hey there ! Nice little set of food for kids to play with . There is small parts though so be careful! You want to make sure to buy for kids who do not keep putting stuff in their mouth. Safer to an 2 1/2 or maybe a little older . But there's some really cute stuff in there and there's veggies, pizza, waffles, ice cream, bread all kinds of cool stuff ! My grandson really loves playing with those with the cool set of dishes that we got him also ! Some of the stuff squeezes really easy like the little bottles and cans so that's a little bit of a bummer also there's a couple pieces of cardboard like the milk cartons, again a little bit of a bummer but that's okay, kind of to be expected . And he's a little bit careful we showed him how to be a lot more careful with stuff . But still all in all most of the stuff is pretty good . But again like I say be careful with the smaller parts like the French fries are pretty small so I wouldn't let little tiny kids play with those. And there's a couple other things that are pretty small so you might want to be real careful . Those are the only drawbacks for me. The colors are really nice and he seems to have a lot of fun with the food and recognizing them as good for learning about food and stuff like that . All in all a fun set but like I say be careful with smaller children . Thanks

My wife and I bought this set of play food for our 20 month old son to use in his play kitchen. Many of the other sets either had way too many pieces, or were made of wood (which is nice for durability, but we'd rather not have him throwing wooden toys around). This set struck a nice balance on what it contained. It has enough food items to provide a good selection (pizza, muffin, ice cream, etc), and also has some pans and utensils so he can imitate mommy and daddy when they cook. The only problem I had is that the french fry box, which is cardboard, was smooshed when I opened the package. That's such a minor issue though that I wasn't concerned about it. Overall, this is an excellent product, with good quality and a solid number of pieces for the price. Would buy again.
