No directional sensor safety feature 4 LEDs out of 12 are UV?
I bought a set of these Uvilizer UV lights and when I bought my set the description mentioned directional sensors so the UV would automatically shutoff if faced upward. I bought the first set for my parents who are older and I wanted help give them extra protection. I did not know at that time the directional sensor was not working. I did not see them. So thinking the lights were good I was ready to buy another set for my family. But when I was looking for this item it was temporarily down with one of those dog pages where it says it's missing that page. Well that made me wonder about the safety of the product. So I asked Amazon support in chat about the safety of this item. I was asking because I thought they pulled the product off of Amazon. The chat support person assured me that the product was safe and they told me it was coming back in stock he didn't know why the page was down. A day or 2 later I checked for the product page again and it was back. So I ordered the set for my family. We have been using it but if you look at the LEDs when it's off it only has 4 UV LEDs the rest are not UV.. or at least they are not purple like the main 4. That's concern number 1. Concern number 2 is that they do not have directional sensors this they do not have an important safety feature which it claimed. Now when I look on here I don't see the same description and I don't see the directional sensor stuff anymore. So if it doesn't shutoff and that feature is overlooked how can I trust the rest of the product? These are not the cheapest UV lights, people buy them because of this extra safety feature. Now we have used them for potentially dangerous areas, restrooms, sinks, toilets!! Uvilizer can we really trust your product? I bought 2 sets. I just want some real answers and trying to help people who cannot be spending the extra money for a guess. All 4 of ours do not have directional sensor shutoff. If anyone else has had experience with these please comment. Thanks stay safe.

I won't go anywhere without it!
With the COVID19 pandemic, I wanted something else to add to my arsenal of defense. This has been the most convenient to use without damaging my mail, my food deliveries ect. I used to spray my mail with alcohol and my food deliveries we just had to take our chances. With this I just slowly wave it back and forth for the 3 min as instructions said and voila! Such an amazing product!

Not so great. Takes too much time for cleaning
Runs out of battery and I question its efficiency. Takes too much time to disinfect small surfaces too. Not practical enough.

there was no surprises, exactly as advertised
easy to use, only thing that may have been nice was a built in timer to know how long to spend while using it

Awesome sanitizing wand
This is one of the most powerful small form UV-C sanitizing wands out there. The UVILIZER Extra is my second line of defense against germs and viruses, first being social distancing and general cleanliness. I have tried 2 other, cheaper wands with little success. I have realized that the wands with UV bulbs are weaker than UV LED variants. This being 7 Watts of power vs 2-3 Watts on smaller models. This wand may seem bulkier than other options, but it carries more power and a bigger battery. It also has nice safety features such as a child lock, directional sensors, and time-out. You should only point this down at a surface or item and never on bare skin. It charges quickly and is very easy to use. The included user guide did not have any specific usage instructions. But the US based Rveal support team was able to answer my questions very quickly. You need to keep the wand 2-3in from the surface for about 10-15 seconds. The closer you are to the surface the less time you need to spend over it, but further out will cover more area and needs more time to be effective. Overall this is a great product to have for anyone who is concerned with their health and safety.
