This is my husband's account...My baby loves this stuff! She has stopped wanting the breast all together because she correlates it with her belly hurting. She's so smart! Cause I know this corn water CAN'T taste better than breast milk! Smells totally gross!But without any lactose it is easier on my baby's belly than breast milk.The main ingredient is corn syrup solids and it DOES contain some soy, both highly dissapointed me when I received the product, but when my baby got full easier, ate slower and fell asleep right away I had a change of heart.She is still colicky, but not as bad and we haven't cut the breast milk out yet, so we will see how much better she gets after that. She is getting happier and more content already with only eating 4 ounces of breast milk, and all other feeding Neocate, today. I feel TERRIBLE giving up breastfeeding, but if synthetic food makes her feel better than that is what we'll do for her. i am worried about her gut flora being properly propagated, but I will have to do some research to see if I can do anything to help that. This formula can be hard to find and it is expensive but when it is the only formula for a precious great granddaughter you buy it!

Currently on elimination diet due to bad reflux/intensional pain and was looking for a dairy/soy free formula baby could have during this time to ensure we weren’t irritating her gut. As this is one of very few soy free formulas we went with it but unfortunately baby REFUSES to eat this and upon trying it it’s incredibly metallic. Super disappointing, especially at this price point, company should do something to sweeten the flavor of this I don’t know how anyone would tolerate the taste

Shipping of this item is fine, we haven't received a broken can yet and we order this multiple times a week. It's literally the only formula my son can handle. I think people giving bad reviews on here aren't being fair because it doesn't deserve a bad review because it wasn't the right formula for their children. We tried Gerber Good start, nutramigen and elecare before settling here with Neocate. There's nothing wrong with the others. Our daughter did fantastic on Good Start, but neocate has turned our lives around. We went from having a nightmare of a newborn to a dream of an infant who sleeps the night through and is always happy and smiling. He now only cries when we change his diaper. Which I don't think has anything to do with the formula, I think he just needs to man up already! ;)I included a picture of how happy my son is, He could be smiling here because he just drank a delicious warm bottle of the amino based formula known as Neocate OR (and I'm not a doctor or anything) he could be smiling because he just realized this gorgeous woman who is having a fantastic hair day is his mama...

La farmacia que normalmente me envía mis leches este mes tiene una demora, compre esta leche por emergencia, me llegó antes de la fecha prevista y en buenas condiciones. Recomiendo al vendedor y a la vez recomiendo esta leche si sus bebes son alérgicos a la proteína de la leche. Gracias por enviarme rápido este producto, muy feliz mi bebé y yo.

Only formula I could suppliment my baby with. My son was on this formula 11 years ago and it was much harder to buy as it had to be ordered in by the pharmacy at a higher price. My newest son has the same milk/soy protein intolerance as my first son and I had to suppliment him with this formula. It is cheaper to order from neocate directly especially if you buy 4-8 cans at once and sign up for their automatic shipment program. I only needed 1 can though since I was only using it until I could get my own milk supply up. My baby didn't have any problem drinking it even though it smells awful. Shipping was quick and the can was in perfect condition with an expiration date of 2017.

my son had a dairy protein allergy so the pediatrician recommends Nutramagen which is a partially broken down dairy sensitive formula. I asked if there was something that had the dairy component more broken down. He recommended Neocate. The formula smells like metal and would make my sons poo army green. Also the formula would always clog the nipple so during feedings I had to rinse the nipple. The only reasons why I endured the smell and the clogging of the nipple was that my son would drink this and it helped him overcome his dairy allergy. Luckily we only had to use this for a month since it's really expensive. If you want the most broken down dairy formula this is the best.
