It's a beast!
I was definitely not a fan of battery operated electric yard tools but I did get tired of mixing gas and oil and pull starting combustion engine tools that always seem to stop starting and working after a few years. I bought both this blower and the DeWalt string trimmer and could not be more satisfied. This blower is a beast. It's pretty lightweight but very powerful. The batteries aren't cheap but they fit both tools as well as many other DeWalt products. I've had my trimmer and blower for several years now and they still work well and the batteries charge up and hold charge like new. I actually just rreplaced my first blower with the same model. due to my own fault. The blower intake fan is located at the very rear of the tool. I was blowing leaves while wearing a pair of sweatpants and the drawstring got sucked into the fan and destroyed the motor. So be careful not to let anything get near the intake!

Good (Leaf) Blower
I am sold on the DeWalt battery/product line with the 60/20 Volt Max batteries. This blower was an excellent upgrade to the B&D corded blower that it replaced. It's not light (with the battery pack) but manageable and I can even use it on powder snow. It blows fast/hard enough. and long enough. The handle works well for me in either hand and I'm quite happy with the purchase - this has been in the house now for a couple of years and I'm still happy with the battery life -- share the big battery with edger & string trimmer combo and one pair of batteries is sufficient for me to do the entire lawn.

BATTERY NOT INCLUDED!!
BE AWARE!!! This blower DOES NOT come with the battery. The battery is an additional $129, depending if it is on sale or there’s a price increase. If you return it , other than it being damaged or it does not work, you are responsible for the shipping costs. I paid $25.25. It’s a nice blower but useless without the battery, so you have to read the small fine print in the extended description.

Well Made Unit
Really like this leaf blower. You need 2 batteries and a charger for extended use.Almost as powerful as my Steil gasoline blower. Also, it's almost as loud. Really enjoy the convenience. Clean, no gasoline or 2 cycle oil to contend with. You do not smell of gas fumes after use. You just have a charged battery, the unit, and go to work.I do my front lawn 60 ft x 60 ft of grass trimmings mixed with light load of leaves, 20 - 30 minutes. Pretty much the same for the backyard. Hard to how long the run time is, due to the variance in work load. I would guess 1½ hours and you would have to switch batteries. So, with 2 batteries one can charge while the other is working. Highly recommend.

Variable Blower Speed Perfect for Full Power When Needed & Slower to Conserve Battery Use Time
Powerful when used at maximum speed, as adjusted by trigger switch. Nice to have variable speed trigger adjustment. Slower speeds used to conserve battery use time when strong air flow is not needed. Nice companion to Dewalt DCST972X1 60 volt string trimmer. Share 6 and 9 amp hour batteries with the two devices.

Good blower
Goes through 60 Volt battery fairly quickly, I didn't time it, I estimate 15 minutes constantly hi speed. Fairly light weight, Easy to change battery
