Paulides may just as well be named "Detective Extraordinaire." Extremely good read. Second best book on this very important subject; second only to his first one: "Tribal Bigfoot." Both are very well researched and factual in every way. In fact, Paulides even spent a couple years living amongst the Hoopa Indian Nation so that he could get the real story of bigfoot. Could not put either book down until I had burned the midnight oil reading them. In the Bigfoot world, Paulides is as genuine as you can get. Dave is the real deal. Highly recommend.

Bought this for my wife for Christmas. She loves the BIGFOOT / UFO subject. He also writes her favorite series of books which he sells at his website MISSING 411 series.

Well written and documented cases of bigfoot existence on the Hoopa Reservation of northern California. Paulides makes his case that these are proof that the bigfoot does exist and interact with people today.The author makes interesting points about the nature of the bigfoot from how it interacts with people.

What can I say? Either the men and women on the rez took him for a ride while taking his money; laughing the whole time or they’re telling the truth. Lots of berries, shrooms and numerous black bears in that area. When frightened, people commonly mistake black bears for bipedal “things”. Witness testimony can be fickle at best. I’m a retired LEO and former coroner death investigator. I trust NO ONE! Although, I trust some more than others. Those in the know, understand. Dave seems to be sincere and is definitely thorough, much to his credit. This entire book is like reading many individual police reports; very monotonous and very analytical. It’s NOT a good “read”, it is EXCELLENT investigative reporting written by a former LEO. I loved it! Either Dave and the Rez took me for a ride or he’s on the up and up. Jury is still out on that one. His association with Noory concerns me, but that’s just my untrusting nature. I wholeheartedly recommend this book; well worth the small price. (Yes, the incident maps are a JOKE printed on pulp-type paper. Folks, it’s a $20 something dollar printing, not a $100 slick coffee table book) It’s still worth the coins. : ) I really hope this helps someone.

I lived in this area for many years. I heard stories of this all the time...some people moved away and refused to talk about their situation.

The author 'left no stone unturned' in his investigation style approach to researching Bigfoot sightings in the Hoopa area during the 70's and 80's mainly. His work reconfirmed my view that this creature really exists. During this same period I and a fishing buddy Steelhead fished the Klamath and Trinity rivers not knowing then how close to the Bigfoot action we really were. We camped next to Bluff Creek where it meets the Klamath river at highway 96. Had we known we may have opted for a motel. The highlight of the book for me are the sketches of Bigfoots done by a police artist. The author interviews a wide spectrum people education and experience wise who have seen and interacted with Bigfoot. Good read.

David Paulides packs this book with concise information, verified statements, with signed affidavits, the book includes maps, sketches and provides a considerable deep dive into the subject. A five star plus book, adding to my collection of the Missing 411 books.

Cracking book well worth a read. Just disappointed that the pictures were black and white as opposed to colour.Dont know if it's from the way Amazon print books from stock or something?But for the price of the book the photos inside should be at least in colour to better appreciate the contents being explained.

I have enjoyed this book, ordered it for husband's birthday, and finally got to read. We love David Paulides hard work, and revealing research into a subject that many would rather scoff and reject. Thank you Mr. Paulides for trying so hard to open narrow minds.

Great book from an amazing person. David Pallides is making a difference in this world, not just in the understanding of bigfoot.I hope he continues, it is of the upmost importance that he does.Can't say how important this book and author is to the world at this time.

A very thorough investigation
