I got this to supplement my regular jack stands during a transmission Swap and it's worth its weight. I keep this in the trunk for any flat tires along the road something like this will be much faster and easier than the factory jack. A bottle jack is good to have on hand and this one is well built and has stood the test of time and many uses.

Bought a few of these to help repair/replace a beam in my home’s foundation. Worked well as expected. Sometimes they’re difficult to get down once it’s in position so plan for that. Bottle jacks are pretty straight forward and easy to use.

After reading the negative reviews, I tried to cancel this order(Torin 4 ton hydraulic bottle jack). I'm glad that it shipped too quickly for me to cancel, because I am happy with this purchase. Upon arrival, there was no indication on the box of any fluid leak and the paint on the jack was not chipped or scratched. The jack appeared absolutely new, in good condition, with a look and feel of good quality. While I haven't used it under my car, the jack functions normally, to a 14.5 inch maximum height. My guess was that the review about raising only half the jack's rated weight was caused by a lot of air in the system. After going through procedures to bleed air from this one, there was no air pressure released when I pulled the plug. I topped it up with Bar's Stop Leak, which really was not necessary because it did not take much at all. This tool was ready to work when it arrived, and it is what I need. Glad here about jumping on the sale price.

The product itself works as advertised, it is a bottle jack, it needs air bled out sometimes and the occasional topping off of hydraulic fluid is inevitable, but it works just fine. My issue is that it came in a damaged cardboard box that had one tiny thin sheet of popped bubble wrap. There was no protection otherwise, some paint got scuffed up from transit and some other slight abrasions, I'm okay with this since it is not causing any mechanical issues. My biggest issue is that it didn't come with a lever, it's kind of hard to use this without a lever, thank goodness I have another jack that I can use the lever from, but it's still a major red flag for anyone who doesn't have a lever lying around. For the price, it's kind of what I expect though, just kind of disappointed in Amazon for not having a higher standard for their sellers.

I was skeptical for the price. It is a Torin which helped. It is what the 2 major retailers of home goods sale in USA so went with their choice. Pros: VERY heavy duty and huge giant nice one cylinder. The top screw lift (trying to be a lay person) was an actual 2" and easy to turn and robust in material. The overall bottle jack is huge but not real heavy and the handle helps. I have a 4WD Tacoma truck, so I want something "tough", because of where I 4W and this appears tough and capable. It does raise for me upon opening a full 20" but took 200 pumps, but I am ok with that because of the overall lift and security. I want the stability and that is what I felt on every pump. Yes, like most BJ you have to press it down when done, most people do not get this, to the original set but was very happy in that it took very little effort and little time to return to set. Just put some weight on it with your body and about 10 -15 seconds it will be back at set minimum. My minimum set point on my truck is 16" so I have purchased HD jack mats to accommodate for the secure lift and raise my lift. I am Using this for tire change only in the, wherever. Cons: I wish it came with a cover. 200 pumps to 18". The base is slightly not exactly level but probably me being too picky. I have hard heavy duty rubber jack mats so should be ok. Love it otherwise.Afterthought if you made it this far....I am the type that will research and look and think etc. to purchase the perfect product, especially for my truck. After purchasing this unit for the price and receiving and testing, I am giving a 5-star review because I will put this in the back of my OR Tacoma and have the confidence that this will be there when I need it. I was actually shocked when I opened it and pulled it out and tested it on how great this purchase was... HEAVY and ROBUST. buy it. And no, I do not work for the company, just excited to share with people like me faced with all the bottle jack choices and do not know what to buy. Again, 5 stars.

Tried to use it to hold up 2x4 and 2x6 pieces between beams (ie rafters for my floor). Got 1 piece in place and by the next picture Eve the jack was just being pushed back down by the 5lbs of wood on if. 2nd one to fail on me this week.

Bought this to jack up my f550 with service box, crane etc. weighs over 10,000lbs had no problem lifting rear end. Doesn’t leak at all.

Buen producto, lo único que no me gustó es que tardó mucho en llegar. Pero en general recomiendo éste accesorio.

Facile à utiliser et surtout un poids de 2.5 kg à manipuler.. 👍👍 pour lever 15 000lbs.
