Love this product and can’t find it anymore

I made some of these up for my kids lunches. i put the normal scoops that i would if using flakes and found out that one scoop would have worked just fine!! The fact that it is a powder style mashed potato did throw me off but to find out how much a very small amount makes is actually a bonus. they taste just like my favorite go to potatoes, yet are easier to make and there isnt really a waiting time as you would have with flakes. If you have a hoard of hungry kids, erm i mean, a family that loves potatoes then this is a good buy.

There’s certainly a lot of volume, actually more than I expected! We will be eating these for a long time… Unfortunately the labels don’t stay on and the containers are plastic so I’m going to repackage. Haven’t tried them yet but will be opening them soon. I hope the other reviews about good flavor are true. I can always season some and get the texture right as dried mashed potatoes just aren’t all that different from brand to brand. Update on opening and using these. One cup dry makes more than I ever imagined. The best by date is only a year out so I’ll be putting them in mylar with O2 absorbers as the repackaging for long term storage. The flavor is fairly bland, not very potato but once adding in basic seasonings they are quite tasty. And where most mixes say mix gently and are dense until you fluff them, this is the opposite, they tell you use a mixer which I didn’t have handy so I used a spoon (they were too dense for a whisk) and once I really mixed them well they were light and fluffy and smooth. Very pleased compared to small bagged flavored potatoes. My best description would be diner mashed potatoes. Very versatile though.

These are made for the restaurant industry but work in your home very well. Forget about making with water - use milk. Even powdered milk improves the product immensely. These can be made in the microwave in very small amounts and the can closes well so it doesn't get stale. The powder dissolves very quickly so it takes on a few minutes to make

Excellent product! I usually make mashed potatoes from scratch but due to my arthritis, this alternative is now my go to.

Only one of the six had a lid and its such a terrible lid that it barely stays on once you remove the seal underneath.

Best by date is 12 mo from manufacture. The box I received was already 8 mo old.Seems to be a common issue with these, so beware.
